I received this item for my birthday last year, and thought it would be the perfect solution to my scrapbook mess. The product went together rather easily, but the black plastic knobs/connectors that are supposed to hold it together DO NOT. They pop off therefor making the whole contraption collapse. Mine came with a black dust cover, also a good idea. However, when you try to put the cover on, it makes the black connectors pop of again and all paper or items stored on the tower fall off. Not impressed.

I sought for a paper storage solution and thought I would give this a try. It looks fairly easy to assemble, but I had difficulty doing so. Even after I received help, it is not very sturdy. If the cubes are not assembled absolutely perfect, it messes up the ones above and then the whole tower is crooked. I think I should have gotten actual shelves.

I purchased this product to store my paper for card-making. At first it appeared to be boxed with no instructions on assembly. My son in-law came to my home and I asked him if he could assemble it for me as I couldn't even figure out how to get the wheels on. It really didn't take him long to assemble (an engineer by trade)but alas, three quarters of the way thru the process, there laid the asssembly instructions held by static to one of the shelves. So much for making this an easy task!!!

One more thing--handle this very carefully as it is not very sturdy!!! The box that this came in stated that the storage unit can be added onto. Don't even think about it. It would definitely topple over. BEWARE......

This storage unit is very handy. The only problem is how hard it is to put together. I consider myself pretty handy and don't have a problem assembling things, usually. It took me over 4 hours to assemble this thing! After wrestling with the gazillion clips that hold the shelves together and suffering scraped knuckles, I had to resort to using plyers to finish the job. Ridiculous! Even though the product is useful, I would not recommend it because it isn't worth the headache you get from putting it together. There has to be a better way!

This is basically a good product. You will need to use zip-ties to reinforce the joints and shelves. A second set of hands would be helpful in assembly.

Although you can sometimes find a good price for this, don't waste your money. It's cheap, falls apart easily, and can't even be moved a couple inches without risking the whole thing collapsing. I will be researching other options to build for my wife's room.

My wife bought this for her scrapbook paper and asked me to put it together. Worst design I've ever seen. They have round clips that are supposed to hold the sides together, what a joke. They can't support any weight at all. I wound up using zip ties at every joint to try and hold it together. It helped a little but this unit is not sturdy at all. And once it's loaded with paper and you have to move it? forget about it. Yes it comes with wheels, but if I didn't zip tie the whole thing together it would have crumbled into itself. Even now it's still falling apart little by little. Keep looking and don't waste your money.

One star is pushing it...I would prefer not to give this product a star at all!! I received this storage cube as a Christmas gift. I usually do not have any problems putting things together and can usually assemble things pretty quickly. After wrestling with this storage cube for 2 hours, I was completely frustrated. The product is ridiculously cheap and the assembly is difficult. The clips that are provided to hold it together do not do their job and the paint all peeled off and left black flakes all over my carpet. The plastic s-hooks that hold the paper shelves in place all snapped in half, leaving the product completely useless. All in all, a complete waste of money and time. Spend your money on a better product.

I really enjoyed this product while it was intact but it falls apart at the drop of a hat! Putting it together is a pain as the S clips take forever to assemble. The corner clips DO NOT stay in place and the whole shelving unit will start to lean or fall apart if it is hit or nudged. I am going to try zip ties to keep it from falling apart, but c'mon, that shouldn't be necessary!

The instructions for assembly should have been more clearly accessible. They were static clinging to the shelves and I didn't see; so I assembled the unit based on the picture. Be sure to count ALL the parts/pieces. My unit was missing 2 hooks that hold the shelves on the wire walls. Otherwise it will be a good keep for my scrapbooking papers.
