I got the Large size cover to put over my 2012 Honda CBR250. It fit perfectly, it seems like this would probably fit a 600. It comes with a nice case for the cover to go in. There are vents on each side of the cover for breath-ability. It has a bungee cord along the bottom that you can adjust to tighten up the cover. The material is fairly thick and obviously waterproof, it will protect against most elements. It looks just like the picture and has the Nelson-Rigg logo on it. For the price, the quality is great but i wouldnt pay more than $40 for this. Hope this helps, as i was taking a gamble on the Large sized cover.

I had previously bought a different very popular cover. It was also great but the second i unpackaged it I knew that it was just a little too heavy for my needs. I wanted something weatherproof and easy to pack that I could still toss in my backpack when I go for a long ride. This is it. Granted, I haven't taken it out on the road yet, but the materials feel durable, it fit my bike perfectly (Size Large - Ducati 848 Evo) and the price is great. If you're looking for something cheap that'll get the job done, this is it.

One thing to note, don't be foolish and think you can rip this thing off everytime, fabrics don't work like that. I really dislike when I read negative product reviews for something that is clearly the purchaser's fault (read directions, read packaging, take accountability for yourself). Some complaints I read were about the material ripping. That is consumer error, not the cover, the cover's job is to protect your bike from the elements, not to withstand negligent abuse. Take care of your stuff and it'll take care of you.

Seems like a decent quality cover for the price. However, I rate two stars because Nelson-Rigg and Amazon are so unhelpful about selecting the correct size. Even the Nelson-Rigg web site is so unhelpful, lacking ANY dimension information, that I have to think was intend to mislead you in order to sell a second cover that is large enough. As someone else noted, if you get a cover that is too small, you can send it back for exchange, but only if the package hasn't been opened. That means, you can't really send it back because unless you open the package, and you can't know if it is the right size until you open the package.

I did my best, and ended up with one cover that is way too small, and one cover that is barely large enough. I ended up ordering one more cover of XXL size for my Harley Sportster, and it fits pretty well, but that isn't the largest bike made. The XL cover that I originally ordered for the Sportster, I now use on my wife's Honda PCX 125 scooter, and it isn't overly large. The Medium size cover that I originally ordered for the scooter is worthlessly small.

My suggestion is to go to a local dealer that will let you test fit a cover. If you want to mail order a cover, select what you think is the correct size, and then order two sizes larger. Unless you are worried that strong winds might tear an over-large cover, it is far better to have a too-large cover than a too-small cover. A too-small cover stresses seams constantly, and makes for difficult install and remove with every use.

UPDATE April 2 2015. I purchased the size large for my new Ducati 1199 Panigale as this performed flawlessly on my Hyper Ive had for the last year. I will not change the rating but a word of warning. If you bike has fragile paint do not use this. The grey weatherproof material on the inside has left tons of swirls scratches on my new bike. As soon as the bike was delivered I washed it and waxed it and it was immaculate then I put the cover on because of wind and rain that night. Next morning removed the cover and bam, swirl scratches everywhere on all the paint. Gonna have to get the bike buffed out.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! April 3 2014. I purchased the XXL and it fits my 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada Perfectly. I am going to add pics of the bike before installation and with the XL and XXL installed.

I have a 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada and when I take off the bags and windshield it is a HyperMotard and this cover in XL fits it perfectly. It leaves one inch of the tires exposed on the driveway. It does fit. I'm pretty sure the XXL will fit the Hyperstrada but haven't tried it yet. If you want complete coverage on the Hypermotard get the XXL. Now on to the cover itself

This cover rocks. I live in PA and we have been getting hammered with Snow, Sleet, High winds and Heavy Rain the last few months and it has held up perfectly. I use a battery tender under the cover and it is perfectly dry and any part that is covered is bone dry and no dust or dirt. It has two pockets that allow the cover to breathe. I bought my bike and immediately put this on and I am about to buy another one.

Thanks for a great product that does what it says it will.

Firstly, I'd like to bring up sizing for others who may be considering this cover. I have an 81 Suzuki GS650 with a rear mount package rack. It is not a big bike but the package rack does add considerable length. Given this, I chose the XL which is described as being for 650 to 1000 CC bikes with windscreens or "accessories." My bike has no wind screen or accessories other than the package rack and the XL was still way too small. Unless the wrong item was in the box, Nelson-Rigg really underestimates their sizing. I am returning the product because of this but will be ordering the XXL which *should* just fit. As for my impression of the cover, it is light weight and seems well made, there are hooks included to loop through the eyelets or hook to the bike but I almost guarantee these will get lost as they are simply held on by a bungee cord being looped around them. Also (and this may be mostly due to the incorrect size I had)it seemed like a bit of a hassle to get the cover on and off because of the elastic that runs along the bottom of the cover. Like putting on a bed sheet, you'd get one end covered and then it would pop off when you pulled to cover the other end. Also, when taking the cover off, as soon as the tension was off, the elastic would contract the cover and want to snag on ever piece of the bike that was sticking out (which on a standard motorcycle is practically everything). I'm guessing that Nelson-Rigg wanted this cover to hang on through a hurricane. Personally, the hooks and eyelets should have been sufficient. The elastic just seems annoying.

Bought this cover for my 2012 ninja 250. It was a little thinner than I expected but seems durable enough. After reading the reviews it seemed some said they were to small or just right so I decided to play it safe and buy the XL. The XL fits my 250 ninja perfectly from tire to tire. It seems the large might have been to small enough to cover the entire bike including tires. Its nice and snug and the elastic bottom helps that. Its does snag on a things sticking out like the turn signals or pegs when putting it on or off. Its a great cover for the money.

This is a great product. It fits over my Honda Shadow with windshield and saddlebags. Make sure you get xx large if you have these accessories. I ordered one day shipping and it was here the next day as promised. Great product for the money!

Fits a little tight especially around the front fender and floorboards but it works. I have a 03' Shadow ACE 750cc. After a couple rain storms I can report my bike stayed dry (except a portion of the front wheel) and through heavy winds, the motorcycle cover stayed put. What’s nice about this cover is the price and how it has elastic hooks to secure the cover in place. If you decide to buy a cover and your bike has a windshield, floor boards and aftermarket mirrors I recommend you buy a 2XL (if your bike is similar in size to a Shadow 750cc). Look at the picture I posted, mine has stock mirrors and no windshield and fits VERY tight. My mirrors shift out of place when the cover is on. Before each ride I have to adjust them cause the cover is soo tight. Also, if you have floor boards that’ll make the fit even more tighter. Buying one size bigger and I would say you bike will be 100% covered.

the title pretty much says it all. the XL is a perfect fit for my 1988 Harley-Davidson Sportster (no saddlebags/windscreem, although I think it would fit fine with small saddlebags/windscreen).

it comes in a "compression pouch" which basically looks like a tiny backpacker's backpack. I never thought it would fit back into the pouch once i took it out, but a simple roll & fold and it went in. still kind of can't believe it. very convenient.

on the bottom of the cover there are two small coated bungees, one behind the front wheel, and one toward the middle of the bike. These match to grommet holes on the other side of the bike to keep the cover down snug (and keep people from lifting it up here in NYC).

There are also two vents that are near the center of the cover. The opening faces down and inside there is a fine mesh (I figured it would just be open-- nice touch).

Very happy with this purchase. This is a great cover, and it's nice to have the pouch so it doesn't just get balled up and tossed in the bottom of the closet when not in use!

..... and get yourself a nicer cover i odered this one after my old on was stolen i needed it asap and this one was the cheapest to ship next day. The next day it rained for about an hour and aafter the weather cleared up I removed my cover to find a completely soaked motorclcye Not just a few drops on the bike, but was as if i never had the cover on at all, it was completely soaked. The cover did not work at all. When I hung up the cover I also noticed that there were also visible holes along the seams of the entire cover. This was a complete waste of $50, DO NOT BUY!!!
