The ONLY thing to watch for is... not pressing on the middle (i.e., the thermometer) when installing. Press only on top of the suction cups. Of course, I read this and then proceeded to do it and snapped the thermometer. They replaced for $5 -- a rare service in this day and age. Install on the shady side of the house or your readings will be useless when sunny. Otherwise, works great. I had one of these for 20 years until it looked junky from weathering. Replaced, hoping for another 20.
I love this thermometer! It's bright and cheery and helps get my morning off to a good start. It has maintained it's bright colors and has no scratches, despite being in constant use for the past 3 years.
