This amp is very nice. I have it hooked up to my sony xplod cd player and my Sony XSLB12S Slim Line Subwoofer with Enclosure. It is perfect for this sub!

It's actually perfect even if you have 2 subs. You can plug in 2 subs in "parallel" to this amp and it will push 300 watts to EACH sub (600 watts) or just plug in 1 sub.

It has a "pass through" so if you want to by another amp for more subs or for your regular speakers in your car or truck all you do is plug in the rca cable into this amp instead of running them all through out your car all the way to your cd player.

You don't even have to run remote turn on wire at all you don't want. Normally you have to run it to your cd player for an amp to turn on but for this amp you can splice the supplied wires into your existing factory speaker wires in your car for the amp to turn on when it senses the signal coming thru the speaker wires.

This amp DOES NOT GET HOT AT ALL!!! It stays perfectly cool and doesn't get warm or hot to the touch. Which is AMAZING. The only wat this amp is going to get hot is if your vehicle is parked in the direct sunlight for many hours and it is really hot outside. You know how it gets kind of hot in your car?? Tha is the only way this may get a little hot but NOT from playing music with it!!

With the settings on this amp plus the settings that may be on your cd player, you can get your car sounding great and how you want it.

This amp is really CHEAP for an amp that works this well! I paid 108 bucks on here for it brand new. It should be 199. It has enough power to push 2 12" subs loud if you want that. I just have 1 12 in my truck and it is really loud if I want to crank it up.

I believe that the settings need to be tweaked just right for any stereo to sound real good but that's just me. Some people may say sony subs suck and blow or any brand for that matter. BUT these are the people that turn their amp ALL the way up full blast then turn the bass up all the way on the cd player and then try to turn the cd player volume all the way up. Uuuhhhhhh of course you are going to blow up any speakers doing this crap. My system is very clear and sounds awesome. Don;t get me wrong I use to have 2 12's in my trunk when I was younger and even 2 10's before that and my system was the best sounding of anybody I knew because I never turned it up to where the speakers started distorting. It's all in how your box is placed in your trunk and how you set the setting on all your equipment. You could here me coming a LONG ways down the street but my system sounded CLEAR and not just boom boom boom boo boom. So just play around with it and buy this amp its good for 1 sub, 2 subs, expanding to add another amp with more subs or add an amp to your regular speakers without hassle!

By the way I have mostly used Kenwood amps in the past and they have all never failed. But I'm glad I bought this sony amp!! I've had bazzooka bass tubes, mtx subs, regular bazooka subs, and the sony 12" slim in a truck box that I have now. I've had polk audio, pioneer, bazooka, infinity, and sony speakers and the only ones that sucked were bazooka speakers cause they messed up after like a week. But bazooka subs are good.

i'm using two of these amps to power two kenwood KFC-W3012's, and they work great. they give me smooth loud bass, and they arn't lieing about the wattage they push the 1200 watt 400rms subs to the limit. 1100 watts max and 330rms @4ohms... this amp is the perfict match. im very happy with it so far the performance is great

I'm not a stereo geek but, I bought this push two Sony Xplod 12" subs and it does the job. I had it professionally installed with a Boss 2 farad cap also. It is hookeed up to my factory radio and I dont have to go past half to make the speakers bump. Bass is clear and consistant.

I have had this amp for over 4 years powering the same subs in the same box I purchased when I was 16. Yes, four years later the subs still pound like they did out the box (they are Cerwin Vega Vega-124's for those wondering, and yes I do recommend them).

The subs could actually pull a little more power than this amp offers but this gives all I need. It is a great example of how a fine tuned system can make a world of difference. I want to change the light to red but other than that the amp is perfect.

I'd definitely recommend to someone else as this thing never gets hot and I mean that. I have never had it feel hot to touch or warm for that matter.

Just got this installed today. Sounds great on a single 10 inch sony in a ported box. Played it hard for over a half hour and it was still cool to the touch. Also noticed that my voltage only drops to like 13.9 volts playn full tilt. With my old amp (sony 1000 watt 2 channel bridged to 4 ohms) it would drop to 13.3. So its definately more efficient. Good amp for its power and price. Got mine refurbished for cheap.

I've got one of these pushing a single 10" kicker sub rated at 400w rms, and this block will put out around 330w at 4-ohms to that little sub and the results are awesome! Great sound, and this is a quality amp for a good price! No downside except it might be an extra inch wider/longer than other amps? I'm not even sure on that, but certainly its not taller. Overall this amp=awesome!

My Sony XMZZR3301 Class D Mono Subwoofer Amplifier is perfect for the system in my 1998 Lexus Es300. It doe's what the spec's said it would do, 320 watts into a 4 ohms 350 watt 12in subwoofer which i plan to change out soon to a 2 ohm, to get the full 600 watts out of this bad boy. I love this amp! and plan to get another one for my other vehicle.

VERY GOOD BUY FOR THE PRICE. Last amp was a kenwood exision 201T, this amp in some ways is way better, only 2 ways not. But considering the kenwood cost me about double the cost of this sony, the sony is better all around. I am VERY pleased with this purchase and would highly recomend it to anyone that is looking for rms rating under 350 @ 4 ohms.

This is a great amp for the price. It hits hard and pretty clean, but not as good as my Rocford Punch that was 5x the cost. That is why I will give it 5 stars, because you get what you paid for and it's actually pretty good. I do recommend this amp if you are on a budget.
