Excellent product, no complaints. The watch is big 44 mm case diameter so make sure it fits your wrist before buying it (go to your local TAG retailer and try it on), the design is sporty and cool and can be used for casual and formal events, the black dial and the white markers gives the watch a classic and elegant look to it. The case is made out of stainless steel so the watch is very solid and a bit heavy, but I like it that way. The screw down crown is easy to use and sturdy, it has a very nice detail to it, the TAG Heuer logo is built-in in silver (the crown is black) and the black and silver contrast looks nice. The hands are luminous (all white) and skeletal which are very different from the previous F1 series. The hands and dial markers are big and luminiscent so it is very easy to read at night (perfect for diving, the watch is water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet and the clasp has a double safety perfect for your wetsuit). The bezel is beautiful, its black and has stainless steel markers (05-10-15-20-25-30-35-40-45-50-55 and the TAG Heuer logo at 12 o'clock) its unidirectional, big and easy to use. Overall I give the watch 5 stars and the seller 5 stars too, the purchase procedure was easy, clear and fast.

Some people believe this watch is overpriced due to the movement. This may be the case if you're a diehard automatic movement fan. However I enjoy both types of time pieces and this watch is a steal at $700. The fit and finish and quality of materials is on par with any watch, including my SeaMaster and yes even my Submariner, yet sports a price tag of a fraction of their price. Tag Heuer is no Omega or Rolex but its brand value is still quite high and this watch is an excellent proof of the craftsmanship of this luxury swiss watchmaker. If you don't need an automatic movement, want a beautiful fit and finish, sporty time piece with a great name behind it. This is your watch. My only gripe is that the box pictured is an aquaracer/ other higher end Tag model box. This watch comes with the plastic box with leather pillow. Enjoy, you won't be disapointed.

BEAUTIFUL WATCH and great service from the Designer Shop. If you are in the market for a nice watch, you can't go wrong here. Lastly, if you are deciding on either the black dial or white dial- go with the black, trust me!

I agree with the previous comments about the watch. Don't have any reason to say isn't good, but I have two problems with the arms: they are too fine and the lume is very little. That means if you have more than 45 years old (I have 48) It's hard to check the time without glasses...

Bought the Formula 1 Grande from Jomashop. Barely had it for a month and the hour hand was stuck at 3 O'clock position. Sent it back to Jomashop at my cost and the watch was gone for around three months . I called several times to check on status and their customer service does not have any communication with their service department . Finally watch came back and looks like they had to change the entire movement!! That's how great the Tag Heuer quality is , though the more expensive a watch the more reliable they will have to be as well. I have a Casio that has been keeping time for several years without a battery change even.Jomashop has good prices but their service levels leaves much to be desired. The other thing I am not impressed with them about is that I tried writing a review for this on their website and they never posted it.

Buying an expensive watch online without seeing it … I was concerned at first, but it worked out beautifully, and I have no complaints. This was a gift to myself :)

The watch is rather large (thick and large dial) and heavy, but I was looking for something solid and well built. It is definitely more elegant than an average dive watch, and goes well with a suit or shorts. I got it two weeks ago, and wore it constantly since then. The contrast between the steel and the dark dial is really nice, and the numbers/markings are large. The time is easy to tell except perhaps if it is pitch black (see below). I love the way the date is discretely placed under the seconds arm. The bezel has a dive-watch quality feel to it (it has two clicks per second, ie one rotation is 120 clicks). Great! I also love that the watch is super quiet, and unless you put the watch directly next to your ear, you will not be able to hear it. The bracelet is elegant, and has a double safety clasp, which works really well.

The florescent markings on the watch really light up at night (as well as the numbers) – what has the least light are the arms, so it is not easy to read in the dark (it should be the other way around). The glowing part of the arms is only a small triangle - if I was a ranger or deep sea diver this would probably be an issue, but for normal use it works fine (anyway, I have another clock in my bed room).

I purchased this watch a year ago and have worn it a good deal since. I liked the size of the case and the masculine styling. It keeps perfect time and has proven to be incredibly durable despite taking several good knocks. The combination of a sapphire crystal, titanium carbide for the bezel, crown & crown guards and hardened, aerospace grade stainless steel for the case and bracelet make it shrug off the little scuffs and scrapes that will quickly mar most watches. I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a tough, high quality timepiece.

I agree with all the above, however, two things happened that I might not have bought this watch if I knew:
I rarely wear this watch unless I am out of the shop and going out, so it has never been dropped or used and guess what? The crown broke/came off for no reason?
It cost me $138 to send it in and have it services
Also, I bought it for diving and since there is almost NO or very low lumi. on the hands, it is not possible to read the time under water or at night

This watch is awesome! Was brand new and in the mfg packaging. I have not had any problems with it at all. I did purchase a cheap ($6) link adjuster and it got the job done without having to got to a retail shop. The watch was $150-200 less than what i could buy it for at a retail store. I'm hard on watches and i've already banged this watch several times. No damage to the saphire crystal or bezel! Looks great and runs right on time!! Go for it!
