This shoe rack is sturdier than most racks in the same price range, and it also looks nicer. Overall, it is a good product for the price, and is very easy to assemble. Be careful though not to tighten the screws too much or the wood will crack.

I like this shoe rack very much. I can't imagine putting my shoes anywhere else! It is very light but feels sturdy. While I was putting it together, it took quite a bit of force to put the screws in and I was afraid I was going to split the wood. Nothing split and all the screws are nice and tight! Cleaned up the big shoe pile in our entryway, looks very classy, and improves my trailer home's worth by at least 10%!

IMPORTANT! One thing to look out for is splinters. I found two very small pieces of the wood hanging off waiting to stick somebody putting or retrieving their shoes on the rack. Pulling them off didn't mess up the clean look of the rack since they were so small, just make sure to check for them.

Yup, this shelf thing works. It holds lots of shoes. It has a low profile and doesn't take up much space in my closet. It was easy to assemble.

If you want a shoe rack that looks fantastic & that you might want other people to see, pay some more money. I ordered two of these racks, and both had one improperly drilled hole on one side. I was able to arrange the shelves so that the funky hole problem was at a bottom corner. The pieces still stay together, but if they weren't hidden in my closet, they'd be a little cut-rate looking. I could have sent them back, but they work fine for my needs.

A side note about the packaging: Yes, it's great that the shelf is made of a "renewable resource" like bamboo. Too bad it comes packaged in copious amounts of styrofoam. Sort of defeats the purpose of trying to help out the environment.

I read the reviews on this prior to purchase. It's a very nice shoe rack - really quite attractive. When putting it together, I found that the screw holes were not deep enough so I had to drill all the holes deeper. Luckily I had a drill!! I did see this mentioned in a few of the reviews, so I was prepared - just in case. I put the rack together whereas I can use the top shelf as a shelf for my pocketbook, etc. To get the top rack not to sit on an angle, you need to screw-in the shelf opposite to the bottom two shelves. I am very happy with this rack!!

I purchased 3 of these shoe racks, only 1 came with the instructions and hardware! When I emailed the manufacturer they never even emailed me back to confirm they would send out two packets of hardware...so I called and was told it was shipped out. And I did get the two packets of hardware, but one packet was less one screw. Had to just use a shorter non-matching screw because I was tired of dealing with the manufacturer. I do like the show racks, but what a lousy purchasing experience.

The gap between shelves is much thinner than in the photo... hardly enough to fit even tennis shoes.
Price is fair and quality is par. Don't expect this to knock your socks off, but its not terrible.

This product looks great and feels sturdy. However the first one i received had several broken pieces and it looked like the pieces had broken before and were then superglued back together. The 2nd one I received had broken pieces as well, luckily I still had the first set so I just used all the non-broken parts to make a complete unit. I've had it for a couple of months now and I like it a lot, again it looks really good, but be aware you may get a broken set. And you should probably be careful if you plan on moving to pack it carefully and not put a great deal of stress on it.

This Shoe Shelf works well for someone who wants to keep about 9 pairs of shoes on hand in an organized way. For the Pice (34.99), Totally Worth It.

I'm not sure what they did to the bamboo for this shoe rack, but at least two of the shelves were cracked at the point where the most weight would be pushing. So, to clarify, before even assembling the product, it was broken. The price and inconvenience of returning the hunk of junk wasn't worth doing so, so we tried gluing it and adding some extra screws (which also split the bamboo down the length of one of at least one of the shelves). I had high hopes for this thing, and perhaps the one we got had some defect, but I think if something is broken before you even try to assemble it (without the packaging it came in being destroyed) then something is wrong with the manufacturing or quality assurance of the company who made it. I DO NOT recommend this product, unless you enjoy receiving broken merchandise, and having to glue it to make it work (which I'm not even sure it will). Haven't even put any shoes on the shelves yet, and we're thinking we'll have to use it upside down to avoid any additional stress on the already broken points of the shelves. Sad, just a sad, sorry piece of junk. AVOID!

I will not be purchasing from this vendor/supplier again. In two different places the wood split as I was putting this item together. Thankfully, I used wood glue as I assembled it, so the shelves should hold. However, it really bugs me to look at the shelf and see the splits in the wood. Also, at bottom of each corner their are little legs or stilts. (It's difficult to describe.) What isn't difficult to describe is that they aren't all the same length. I'm going to have to file one or two of them down so all four are the same length or cut off all four entirely. The quality control on this product is REALLY POOR. A more appropriate title would be, "Honey-DON'T!"
