I got mine today at the local Comics n Stuff store. It's nice and big, around 7-8" tall and very sturdily built. Comes with two long swords, two sais, two pistols and one rifle. The base is big and heavy, and very nice. the scuplting is nice and the paint is detailed. My only problem is the articulation.
His head spins around but does not move up and down. His arms only bend half way at the elbows. There is no articulation at his hips, so his legs are always at the same angle (but plenty of articulation at the knees, fortunately).
Very sturdily built and still a great figure over all. Taller and much bulkier than the Hasboro figures that just came out a month or so earlier (those are very skinny and have very small feet, which make it more difficult to stand, this one has bigger feet).

As the title says, I was able to buy this figure for lower than retail price (okay, it was only by a dollar or two, but still...) since three of my newer Deadpool figures were pretty expensive, this one was at the right price. I guess it pays to buy them when they first come out.
The first thing I noticed was how big this Deadpool figure was, standing at 7-8 inches, towering over Marvel Legends figures, but generally the Diamond Select figures are bigger than, so he fits in with my Diamond Select Spider-Man, Anti-Venom, Ultimate Venom, Black Cat, and so on.
The articulation isn't that great and the joints are a bit stiff, but it isn't that bad.
The sculpting on this figure is nice, but I don't like the placement of the eyes on the mask. They seem a little lower than they should be.
Paint job is pretty good and matches the same shade of red as my other Deadpool figures. My only gripe is that the black on his shirt actually looks like a dark grey rather than a black. It's not that big of a deal, but it is kind of noticeable, especially since the black on his mask, boots, and gloves are all a shade or two darker.
This figure comes with a machine gun, two pistols, two sais, and a broken wall backdrop. All of the accessories are just as nice looking as the figure.
I definitely recommend this figure, especially if you're a Deadpool fan. Get it now before it's all bought up and you have to buy it for 3 or 4 times the cost on eBay!

I ordered this on a day when I guess one seller had run out and they switched over to another, so it ended up being five dollars cheaper. The figure arrived a few days later and I have to say, I couldn't believe how big the packaging was. Deadpool stands over seven inches tall but the packaging was probably close to a foot. The action figure and accessories are detailed, well made and impressive. Also included with the figure and seven weapons (two handguns, two sai, two katanas and one machine gun) is a highly detailed two piece base. Quite a lot is included for the price. Recommended.

First of all, Diamond Select figures are not made for their articulation, never have been and never will be. So when I see reviews of people saying their Diamond Select doesn't have a lot of articulation I'm left to wonder two things:
A) How long have they been collecting figures
B) Have they ever owned a Diamond Select figure
If you want articulation buy Marvel Legends, there's nothing wrong with Marvel Legends...I own tons and I love them. That's what THEY are for...Diamonds are not.
Diamonds are made for their detail and "displayability" (that a word?). These aren't for playing with, they're meant for displaying. So if you're hoping for a figure with a ton of articulation points don't look at this one. With that being said, however, he does have more articulation than the other Diamonds I own (7).
Enough of that....
This is, by far, one of the best Diamond Select figures I've seen and owned. I try to avoid hyperbole and platitudes...but this guy is phenomenal. Truly.
Most of the Diamonds I own are made of a light-weight plastic, tend to not weigh much at all and come with a display base made from the same plastic. For example, my Diamond Select Daredevil and Captain America are very beautiful figures (that Cap shield is awesome) but always seemed to feel hollow.
Deadpool here is made of a different plastic. The plastic is of a softer feel and he's very heavy in your head, there's some heft to him. The base, floor with empty shells and a blown out wall, are made of the same material. All of it feels very well made. Like I said, most of the other Diamond Select figures felt very light - this guy has got to weigh twice as much as your normal Diamond Select (except the Hulk, Thing and Abomination of course!).
This is one of my favorite figs right now. He's sitting on my desk, nuzzled into a corner and he looks amazing.
Do not pass this up. One of the best I've bought in a long time.

I love deadpool let's just get that out of the way hahaha I've played the game and I seriously had to get my hands on this figure seriously, so went ahead and bought it....THIS FIGURE IS JUST SO FLIPPING COOL ! I L O V E IIIIT so he come's with two swords, two guns, two sais and a assault rifle all fit very well in the hands but the two katana are some what harder to get adjusted so what ever you prefer for deadpool to hold, also a very well detail base where you can actually see bullet casing's everywhere along on the ground with some bullet holes in the wall having this feeling that some bad guys wasted all their ammo on Deadpool not knowing he has some sick healing factor and Wade is like ok guys my turn any way on the back of the box there is a summary of Deadpool if you don't know his origin all of that is very informative not to mention on the side of the box there is nice artwork of the character to, now there is two Variants of this figure one with mask and one with out the mask but it seems like a lot of folks prefer the masked one the most as well do I if you haven't played the game you should cause it's really awesome not like batman Arkham Asylum but it does come close of how funny any way paint application is very well done on my there is no miss paint but for some reason mine is harder to stand so I have to move the right foot around to get it standing the way I want but other than that I would highly recommend this to a hardcore Deadpool fan or a collector cause let's be honest with each other who wouldn't want the famous annoying merc in there collection ?
Articulation: Head moves side to side, both arms move out and forward, single jointed elbow, wrist move side to side,
small amount of waist articulation cause his belt hender's the movement, ball jointed legs, double jointed knees, and ankle movements side to side
Height: 7 inch
My final score: easy 10

The Marvel Select or Diamond Select line of toys is known for its amazing sculpts and overall quality, this figure is no exception. The figure is beautifully detailed, everything from the belt buckle logo, to the combat knives (which are non removable)and the magazine pouches are incredibly accurate and pulled directly from the comic books. The base is also very nice and detailed well. The articulation is decent and actually more than I expected from a Marvel Select figure. There are many complaints about the lack of articulation, but nobody seems to understand that its not meant for play. There are enough joints to get him in a particular pose and display him, but constant use of the joints will cause it to wear out fast. The best thing about the joints is they are hidden quite well. The most irritating thing as a collector, is to buy a figure that has big, obvious, pin-and-hinge joints. Luckily this figure looks statue like no mater how he is articulated. Next are the weapons. He comes with 2 ninja swords (not katanas because they aren't curved), 2 sais, 2 pistols (.45 ACP's I think), and an assault rifle. All the weapons are detailed nicely, but are made of a more brittle plastic, so be careful or they might break. There are holsters for the pistols and slots for the swords on his back, the sais and assault rifle can either be held or put on the base. The only problem I had with this figure is that mine was shipped with only 1 pistol. I don't know who to contact about this but I'm sure it will get taken care of.

To me the best part of this figure is the base he comes with. Its very well detailed and large. He also comes with some nice weapons though the Sai and the Katanas feel very brittle. The 3 guns he comes with two hand guns and a machine gun seem to be out of scale with the figure as he's a tad bit bigger then your average Marvel Select figure. The scale is also one of my more biggest dislikes. This Deadpool is to large for the character hes a good head taller then the other average size MS figures i have. The joints on mine are also a bit loos in the legs so its hard to stand. The Detail is very nicely done on the over all sculpt of the figure with some nice shading tossed in to help it pop. There are a few small paint issues here and there but thats to be expected with most figures.
