I heard a couple of loud "pops" when I wasn't even sitting on it and now its totally deformed and usable. I uploaded a photo of what I am referring to.

I bought 2 of them and they are so comfortable I keep falling asleep in them. Simply the Best. When they get holes I'm going to fill them with beanbag filling instead of fixing them.

I'm a very picky person and always shop around reviewing the pros and cons of every product I'm looking to buy. It was always hard to find a good sit when watching a movie, playing video games or just for those lazy days off work. This chair has more pros (for me) than cons. First off, its filled with air so there isn't many pressure points to worry about. It's like sitting on a cloud so to speak. It can be soft or firm depending on just how much air you fill it with. Plus, it comes with an ottoman. Which my son has fun sitting on when he is playing games. One major con is that its inflateable and I have two cats. Needless to say I'm a bit protective over it. It is made pretty durable though from the same materials as most high end inflateable mattresses. You will need a bit of room for it though but its well worth it.

I got this when I fresh moved into my apartment because I had no furniture to sit on yet. Everything was crammed into a storage unit and scattered around my parents house and I wasn't able to get it right away.
First of all, it will blow up with a vacuum cleaner that is reversible. You don't have to buy their compressor if you have something similar. I used my old Rainbow vacuum cleaner and the pipe was a perfect fit.
Next my use of it -
It was a bit uncomfortable with the angle for doing much. It leans back way to far to be useful for anything you want to have an actual chair for but was not uncomfortable to sit on. My apartment would get cold during the day, but would be warm at night (never above 80) and the chair was doing fine. Because of the drastic swings of temperature (not unlike what you might have in a camping trip in some places/times of year) I kept it a slightly lower pressure because I didn't want the heat / cold cycles to risk causing it to fail. It stayed like this for about 2.5 weeks with no problem.
It's failure -
One morning, just like all the others I got up, came into the living room, turned off the heat and looked at my chair and it had exploded. It looked like someone had come in and triple inflated the thing. It was a ball, but nothing had happened to my ottoman. It was the strangest thing I had ever seen or experienced.
The company -
I contacted the company by phone, and they said I could get a replacement - which is really what I wanted. They sent me by email an RMA form, and required me to cut up my ottoman (which was perfectly fine and working. The woman on the other end of the line couldn't seem to comprehend how my chair (not the ottoman) was what had failed. Eventually she agreed to let me return the part of the chair instead of the ottoman. I only wanted a chair, not the whole box. So I took pictures to show them what happened, and filled out their form and mailed it all back to them.
Then they never did anything about it. I tried contacting them, but they have no record of me contacting them, no record of anything at all, and now I am past my "warranty".
In short, I didn't have problems with the valve, nor with leaking, but with the way the chair failed, and the way the company responded, I would not recommend this to anyone.

very comfortable, ligh, some close to the floor cheap and beautiful, bigger than you think
after several moths of use 4 of them...i hightly recommended but you need to know if you overinflated more than 80 % full of air will exploted inside and change it s shape, even if you inflated 80 % but you toddler jump on it could exploted and be useless by deformation , if u have a leak of air check the bottom if the valve is close correctly ,usually the leak is on the joint gray area where you sit is hard to fix it, i tried several adhesives, tapes kits of reparation and nothing works, finally i used a car product, only the black superweatherstrip adhesive 3M stage 2 (03602) works to fix it . fill the small hole with it wait a couple hours then inflate again to 80% full. this product cost only 3 dls in walmart and is used to firmly bonds gaskets and seals in cars. After i fix it i still using 2 of the 4 the other 2 are useless for deformation but was my fault these chair need a major surgery to be repaired. ENJOY THIS CHAIR EASY TO FELL SLEEP

Most comfortable chair, SUPER big (so make sure you have plenty of room - the size surprised us), love the cupholder! Adding in the ottoman makes for a relaxing oasis! :)

***Edit... After about a month and a half, it sprang a hole in one of the seams. To be fair, I'm pretty heavy, holding my fat butt off the ground was no small task for this chair. I'm looking for a patch in hopes of saving it, it was soooo comfortable. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a patch in the packaging when it arrived, but I think I threw out the box. I'm docking just one star off, hoping i can still save it.***
I've had several Intex mattresses before, given several to family when someone needed a spare bed, only to have them love it so much that I never get it back! I've had enough of them that I trust this brand to be far better than the gimmicky plastic toy store inflatable chairs.
Only con so far is just that it's definitely kinda big. I'm staying in a tiny barracks room, so I had to totally move everything to make room for it. Now that I made room here though, it's totally worth it! It's so comfortable... and to think, when I get moved again, i can roll it up to the size of a shoebox and take it with me!
Pros... feels like good quality. Nice suede feel all around. It's strong enough that it holds all of my 230lbs, and feels sturdy doing so. Stays inflated as good as can be expected. It never really gets "low", but I do have to top it off every few days. Usually just a few deep breaths are enough to top it off, I haven't even used the pump since the first time I opened it.
Oh, one more con... I wish the ottoman could actually attach somehow to the chair, maybe velcro strips? I had it sitting on linoleum and the ottoman kept sliding away from my feet if I moved at all. I found a small piece of carpet to slide under the chair and ottoman though, and now the faux-suede doesn't slide around so much. Still, it would have been nice to have something included to do this, instead of trying to find spare materials here. Bear that in mind if you're planning on putting the chair on a hardwood or linoleum floor... put a carpet runner under the two pieces, you'll thank me.

I was only able to use it for a week. In the back rest one of the surface joins developed a hole in the side. The important part is there was not external pressure or force that caused the hole it just simply popped.

I bought two of these because they are a great way to have extra seating. Unfortunately, one has a small leak somewhere and it is only a few months old. We are not jumping on it, nor heavy set people. Has anyone else had this problem? I would really like to exchange it for a new one because I am wondering if it is a manufacturing issue. I do not know how to go about it. Any suggestions?

it was great for the first few weeks then it started to change its shape. After a while I could not set on it because it looked like a giant soccer ball
