There have been dozens of versions of Darth Vader figures over the years. This figure is easily the best one to come from Hasbro yet. It's got an incredible amount of articulation. The sculpt and paint are incredible. Perhaps the best thing about the figure is that it is the New Hope version with no removable helmet, meaning you can pose it a lot without worrying about that helmet. Another great feature is that Vader can grip the lightsaber with both hands, unlike other recent figures that could only grip with the left hand. Definitely must get this one for your collection.

I own a handful of figures of the Dark Lord of the Sith himself. Each varies in quality, but after getting this one I think he's the best one by far! I personally like how Darth Vader looks in "A New Hope" overall; with his dull-finished helmet, his robes covering most of his armor, and even his chest box color scheme I like better!

But anyways, the figure is very detailed with mainly ball-joints. So this Vader can be posed in ways you've most likely never seen him; like doing the splits for instance. Mine came with a bit of a dent problem on the back of his helmet (the plastic is pushed inward), its not a big deal though. His robes and cape are all nice, and they aren't as bulky as past releases.

If you want a definitive Vader figure, or even just one modeled after his ANH appearance, then look no further!

This Darth Vader is from the original Star Wars film, retitled A New Hope. This figure is very well sculpted, with highly detailed chest box and belt, and subtly red hued lens on the helmet.

Out of the box, this figure wears a black fabric cape and skirt. Of course, it also includes a red lightsaber.

This figure has:
- ball-hinged shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles, and
- swivel head, waist and forearms.

Overall, this figure offers great likeness and posability. It is arguably the most accurate and articulated Darth Vader there is.

I got this action figure as a joke for a co-worker who was promoted out of our office. We kept teasing him that he went over to the dark side. The action figure is very realistic and was perfect for the application we wanted it for. The seller was very quick with delivery, and for that I was happy.

This is old school 1977 Darth Vader with Non-removable helmet, cloth cape, scaled height and shoulder armor is covered partially by robes as it was in A New Hope. Looks great on the shelf next to New Hope Luke Skywalker. Nice figure, very poseable.

Starwars is big with my 12 year old son. This figure was impossible to find locally so while I didn't enjoy waiting 4 weeks, it was still a good deal. The figure itself is small, but well detailed and has good articulation.

My son has as much Darth as he can get and this was a nice piece to add to his collection. Hopefully he will leave it packaged as a real collectible.

My daughter is on a Darth Vader kick and she really enjoyed this. The cape is a bit flimsy but other than that it's a good quality toy.
