Purchased this to give me just a bit more protection from the oncoming winter. Used it for the first time on a 74 mile gravel ride with temps 28 to 34. I had no issues with the cold or wind as the extra windproof material on the front of the leggings kept it from penetrating. Material moved with me and was not restrictive around my calves or thighs which are a bit larger than what most medium sizes afford me. The lack of a zipper at the ankle takes more work to put on but the foot stirrups keep the tight from riding up. There is a ingenious slot in the front where the waist band joins the bib upper which allows a guy to "write-your-name-in-the-snow", so to speak. Nice touch.
Seems like typical quality PI construction so I didn't mind paying the price.

overall, i would say these tights are nearly perfect. windproof, very warm (wore these in 30F with windchills down in the teens and felt no coldness) and fit really well. i am 6'2" and got the large. i would say that they are almost tailor made. could be a touch longer, but that's just me being a perfectionist.
the one thing that makes them nearly perfect and not 100% perfect is that the gasket/stirrup combo is fairly tight. i guess it needs to be and the elastic does the job it is supposed to to keep the wind out. but a result of that is that blood flow is slightly more restricted than i would like it to be to my feet. the marks when i took the tights off after a 50km ride around my ankles were deeper than from a looser fitting elastic on my descente tights.
aside from this (and this should not turn you off too much when considering these, i think) they are brilliant. i would buy them again. i used to use regular tights before and this is my first winter bib tight. will stick with this concept as it doesn't compare to regular non-bid types. much warmer and better fitting.

Excellent cold weather bib. Very comfortable with an excellent chamois. Rides in 30 degree weather with 15 mph winds are great and legs do not get cold unless you stop moving. Even if you stop moving it never gets to feel freezing cold with these on. Make sure you order true to size and not bigger as some people claim. It is meant to be form fitting. I am 5'11 207 lbs and fairly fit, with 26 inch thighs and a 35 inch waist and the large fit me very well. There is a little vertical give (will fit taller people) but I can smooth that out and it isn't a problem. Low rise at the front so you can use the bathroom without hassle. The only problem I have is with the revealing nature and do wish the chamois came up in front more but that is true for all cycling tights.

Love it. These are certainly great for the 20s and 30s. The front opening for using the restroom is brilliant. Why don't they all come with this?

I'm 6'1" and 185 pounds, and I wish that I had bought a medium. The large size that I did purchase is a little long and a tad too big below the knees.

These are the real deal.

I really liked my knicker bibs for spring and fall, so i thought I would try these pant length bibs for winter. It proved to be a winner especially after i went back to my old pants over shorts method. I will never go back to that! My one concern was they might be too warm. With the multiple panels, however, my legs can breath (back panels) as well as be protected by the wind-proof (front panels). This is even after a morning ride that warmed up to the low 50's by afternoon The chamois is perfect much better than sitting on multiple layers. The design and fit and attention to detail is really quit good.

This was a fantastic addition to my cycling kit. They hold up to road riding in 15-20mph winds @ about 20 degrees or so. I wouldn't wear them past 30-40 degrees, they are certainly for colder weather. Highly recommend. I wear a 35-38 waist (depending on manufacturer) jean/pants and the large fits just fine.... with the winter weight even.

Highly recommend, if you are looking for cold weather pants these should be at the top of your list.

These Pearl Bib Tights are great!! Very comfortable, warm, wind and water resistant. The material at the front of your leg blocks wind, and the fabric in back does a great job of dissipating heat without letting the cold in. Water bottle drips and road puddle splashes bead up and roll off.

The foot straps are comfortable, and shoulder straps stretchy and comfortable. There is an ingenious front access that accommodates quick men's room stops without undressing.

I've worn these in temps from 25 to 5 degrees, and no longer even think about being too warm/cold.

I wish it were that easy with gloves/coats/shoes.

This bib tight should be used up to -10C as I think. In these conditions it's very comfortable and warm. I used it for cycling up to -20C but I think it's quite extreme if you mean some kind of long training.
Also I wish to notice that:
a) its slings are good (they ensure reliable fixation);
b) upper material is very durable (there are no any damages at my tight even after some hitches with my pedals' spikes).

It's thick and good protection gear in cold winter.
It's workable under -5 C.

One thing inconvenient is that there is no zipper for nature break.

I live in New York and I commute to work 7.5 miles/day. I was looking for a cycling suit that would keep me warm during the winter months. I just completed a ride this morning and It was 34 degrees outside. I did not feel cold at anytime of my ride, this suit was simply amazing. It performed better than expected. I am truly satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.
