A great addition to Call of Mini!
on September 26, 2012
This is a sequel to the hit, "Call of Mini: Zombies" which I also loved, although right now that is not available for the new Kindle Fire HD, hopefully the developers come up with an update to that so I can enjoy both of these games! This sequel stays completely true to the original. If you played the first Call of Mini: Zombies game, you will reconize the enviroment right away. They kept the original zombies (Added new ones too... For example, giants!) Even the survivors that you try and save are from the original game. You will encounter surgeons, even the default character from Call of Mini: Zombies. It's nice to see that they haven't strayed too far from the first game.
As the title says, this is a sniper game. You are safe and sound on a building, or a scalford, or anything else that an expert marksman would find confortable. The point of the game is not to let even ONE zombie into the safe house. Plus, if you accidentally kill too many survivors, it's game over too. You'll get bonus points for the more survivors that arrive to the safe house. It's an addicting formula. It's not like Contract Killer: Zombies, infact, it's a million times better and funner.
You will, however find it a little difficult to smoothly aim and shoot. I don't know what goes on with the fire button. It's fine when you are using the sniper rife, but when you siwtch to the automatic weapon, half of the fire button is missing, which makes it so I hardly ever use it. And there are times when the zombie is right in my cross hairs, and I fire, and all it does is zomm me back out. I expect with some simple training on how to hold the Kindle Fire, this won't be a problem. And for the most part, it's not a major deal. After all, these are zombies, and they are an easy target to pick off.
All in all, it's a fun game. The developers are known for providing important updates to their games, so the game will only get better. Although, the game is leaving a little more to be desired. I don't know if I am expecting too much from a tablet game, but it would be fantastic to merge Call of Mini: Zombies, and Call of Mini: Sniper together, and add a sniper character to the online game, and protect real players as they fight zombies. But sadly, there isn't an online mode on this game. But what can you expect? It's a sniper game, not much to work with for an online element, except for previously mentioned. It's a great addition to Call of Mini, and this series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
I only wish I could play Call of Mini: Zombies on my new Kindle Fire HD! It is however, still available for the original Kindle Fire. So if you haven't checked that out, check it out! And then buy this one if you enjoy it.
