Color: WhiteStyle: BinderVine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
If you're looking for inexpensive, basic white binders, then these may be perfect for you. I like to use three-ring binders to store materials for my various work projects, and these binders work well for that purpose. They're not fancy, although the front and back covers (as well as the spine) include a clear overlay that allows you to insert a standard piece of paper. Thus, you can label or decorate your binders in any way you'd like. The inside covers include vinyl pockets so that you can store un-punched paper or small materials. The other feature I like is that the three-ring mechanism is not mounted on the inside spine but instead is offset to the right, which allows the notebooks to lay completely flat when open. These notebooks would be particularly good for college or high school students (e.g., storing class notes or turning in projects). The one drawback is that the folders are a bit flimsy looking, so I wouldn't use them for certain tasks (e.g., carrying to class every day). I plan on using them to store work materials, such as handbooks, on my book shelf.

I love these binders and must have about 2 dozen of them at my office and another dozen at home. They are perfect for printing out e-books and storing them, using them as your household control binder, meal planning binder and I even use one for my night class. They have the matte plastic cover that allows you to slip in custom covers for the front and the back. You can slip a title down the binder spine as well - perfect for organizing on the shelf. The inside has two folders - one in the front, one in the back and the front. The binder hardware is fairly sturdy and has a nice locking sound. Binder rings meet tightly and open easily. I am putting this package of four binders to work straight away. I use standard 20 pound copier paper (that I run through my laser and inkjet printers) and I personally use about 100-150 sheets in the 1" binder size.

Just for fun, I looked this up at a couple of different places and found:

Ring Size - (Diameter for O-Rings)

Page Capacity

1-inch 175

Here's another chart I found, that differed slightly:

1 Inch Ring - Up to 250 pages (average presentations)

I don't believe this binder would work well at 200 pages, though. Keep it at 150 pages and I think you will be thrilled.

I am a teacher and I rely on binders to organize my units, so I would consider myself pretty binder-savvy. These are pretty nice for the price, and I love that they are PVC free and eco-friendly. The covers are clear and allow sheets to be slipped in as a cover. There are simple pockets inside (made of the same clear material that covers the front of the binder). The rings open/close easily and snap together tightly. The binding is flexible and allows the binder to lay completely flat. The only downside I have is that they are SLIPPERY! Whatever material is used for the clear plastic coating has very little grip to it (other binders I've used are slightly more "sticky," so they don't fly out of your hands as much!). I wish the binder had a bit more of a grip, but hey, if that's my only complaint...then they're pretty good binders :).

I would recommend them, but just be careful so the binders don't slip out of your hands!

They are awesome. They do have the clear plastic pocket in front, back, and spine. They also have the binding attached to the cover so they lay completely flat. Plan to buy a bunch more.

Excellent price and value for a set of four durable 3 ring binders with a plus being the clear front panel to slide a cover paper in to.

I'm horrible when it comes to organization, but I've found that ring binders really help and am a fan!
Right now, these are selling at 8.99 for a 4 pack, which is a great value. At Walmart, the really cheap ones are about 2.00 each, and they don't have the insert pocket on the cover. I find the insert pocket (which these binders have) is one of the most helpful features because I can put a photo, quotes, page from a magazine, etc, in the front to give it some character as well as easily help me identify what the binder holds.
As much as I love recipe books...I always seek to find the "best" recipe. I notice many of my "best" recipes come from allrecipes (online) - and I've been using binders to store my favorite "go to recipes" as well as "recipes to try." I hate clutter, so I find that organizing and keeping only what works makes me way more efficient and cooking/baking fun.
A must have for every house (and kitchen?!).

Each of these basic white binders comes with a clear plastic pocket in the front, spine, and back so that you can insert pictures or labels if you wish. Plastic inside pockets allow for easy storage of loose papers. While the binders are sturdy enough, I get the feeling that the flexible joints on the spine might wear out over time. All in all, they do the job, and this is a good deal for a set of four.

This item is pictured as having a clear outer lining, to insert paper....it does not!
I ordered this item, based on the four photographs on Amazon, and I'm disappointed that I have to return it and wait for new product.

A decent product at a decent price. I slip a title page under the clear front and distribute these binders for my students to save training aids and notes. The affordable price allows me to pass on the savings.

Horrible. Rings don't line up. Clip separates too easily. My students loose pages constantly from the sliped rings. DO NOT PURCHASE FOR EDUCATIONAL USE.
