Collusion smartly documents the myriad of examples of media bias and manipulation that happened in 2012. Obama may indeed owe Candy Crowley a $300-Million "energy subsidy." That said, it misses what worked for Obama -- technology, and the 30,000+ voter profiles into which the Obama machine categorized every voter, with pre-prepared messaging. How the GOP consultants fall for these Lucy-pulls-the-football tactics every election cycle just boggles the mind; perhaps if a campaign is "that" clueless, they deserve to lose; but, it's at the expense of the American people.

For conservatives, this book is a well-known but depressing story. Were it not for the media and its foul, rampant bias our nation would be free. Instead, it becomes more statist each and every year. Some of the frequent offenders here--Chris Matthews, Jonathan Alter, and Howard Fineman--are infamous in conservative circles and we shake our head at the way in which these devout leftists can fool anyone into thinking they're "journalists." They're no such thing. Our media members are leftist activists disguised as reporters. They're coat and tie radicals and together with our universities form a large Democrat Media Complex that brainwashes our youth. The state of affairs is absolutely disgusting, but I thank Mr. Bozell for writing about their scandalous behavior. I enjoy him whenever he's on Hannity's show for "Media Mash" and that is the reason I bought the book. You won't be disappointed. Its excellent. There are chapters on the Hollywood rich whom the papers ignore when they engage in class warfare against the right. Not only is the Democratic Party the party of segregation and slavery, they are also the party of the fantastically rich such as Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and George Soros along with celebu-dope fatcats like George Clooney, Michael Moore, and Matt Damon.

I heard Mr. Bozell on the radio discussing this book. Monica Crowley, Ph.D., interviewed him. Praises to the reviewers who are helping bring this out to the American people. The negative reviews here are examples of media bias. If America is to survive, we must expose the evil falsehoods the media put out against good conservative people who try to help our nation. The American people cannot figure things out, when things in favor of conservatives are suppressed so that the American people do not know about it. The book is full of details about media lies. A lie is a false statement that the speaker knows is false, but claims that it is true. In addition to actual lies, there are many sordid details about suppression of news vital to the interests of us Americans.

The media's responsibility is to present news as accurately as possible, and to totally ignore political consequences. When the media distorts the news it is like a doctor giving the wrong drug to a patient in order to get money from the manufacturer.

Here is a recent example. Immediately after the Travin Martin killing, the news media showed Martin's picture from the 9th grade. The implication was that this small young boy could not have posed a mortal threat to Zimmerman. Showing Martin's picture as a young boy was a lie. The lie was due to bias against using a gun in self-defense.

Here is another example from 1986. I visited Lebanon, and expected to see widespread destruction. A building here had some holes from Israeli shells, and a building there. The media report of widespread destruction was a lie. The American media was biased against Israel, and supported the Arabs.

Bozell's book is very long overdue. It should have been written decades ago.

My only criticism of the book overall is that I found it somewhat unnecessary. If you're conservative and you watch how the media covers events and individuals, the bias toward liberalism is obvious. The authors make some valid observations, but I wouldn't think any of it should come as a surprise to conservatives. We saw, for example, that every day while Bush was in office, the media DELIGHTED in splashing accounts of explosions and death relating to the Middle East war while highlighting none of the positive. The day O'Bama took office... they were done. Immediately. They'd made their point, they'd gotten Bush out of there, no need to drone on about the negative at that point. We who watch the news didn't need an expose to teach us these things. I'm more thinking this book was written for us to give to liberal friends who scoff when we talk about media bias. Then again, since when are liberals influenced by facts and logic? So I'm not sure who the audience is, but there's no denying the truth in what Bozell and Graham are saying. I appreciated how, rather than simply slinging around rhetoric, they exhaustively documented all of their points.

Can`t wait to dig into this one. I always knew there was something wrong with this election, after all when a county in a big state like Philidelphia has 100% vote for one candidate, it makes you wonder!

"Today's journalists make a mockery of the word. They are naïve, even sometimes downright stupid. They are undisciplined, not just in the preparation but in the delivery of news. They cannot, or just will not distinguish between news and information. They are pawns for misinformation and practiced in disinformation. They are loud, condescending, arrogant, dishonest, foolish, incompetent, mean-spirited--and dangerous."

"On Election Night, at our behest, the McLaughlin Associates polling firm asked some questions along these lines in their omnibus survey.

"The first question we wanted answered was the degree to which the public believed the news media had helped to reelect Barack Obama versus those who believed they were helping elect Mitt Romney. Take out those who believed the press was neutral, or who had no opinion and you're left with Obama 84.8 percent, Romney 15.2 percent." This poll was taken when it was assumed that Romney would win the election.

As I write this review there are 6 other supposed reviews of the book that consider the book absolute lies and fantasies? It's difficult to believe these people actually read the book because it's obviously so well researched and the conclusions are footnoted.

Even if one doesn't agree with every conclusion in the book it's totally ridiculous to deny the obvious truths contained in it. In an introduction and 12 chapters plus an epilogue and detailed notes and an index. The general public knows that the so-called "mainstream media" is heavily biased to the liberal left. That's probably why the number of people who follow the mainstream media has been dropping like a piece of burning hot volcanic lava for the past 30 years.
