I want to write a book. It has always been a dream of mine to be an author. Dreams can come true if you are brave enough to take the first step. So, that is what I am going to do. Buy books on style, grammar and any others that will educate me in any way. Maybe someday????

This updated classic writing style guide is essential for anyone who loves to write, thinks they could improve their writing or just plain wants to think more clearly. Wm.Strunk wrote this in 1918 as a professor at Cornell. In 1957 the one and only E.B.White, who had studied under Prof. Strunk, rediscovered the book and via the New Yorker magazine, a star was born. It is every bit as marvelous today as it was then. My favorite bit of advice in the book is: "Make every word tell"; hence, the 17th principle of composition is the simple instruction: "Omit needless words." Uhhh, maybe I could take heed. Anddddd....the Maira Kalman illustrations will make you smile and warm your heart (as she always does with all of her writing/illustrations...check her publications too!).
