This is a good additional source for medieval and renaissance units, especially since it is in color. A wider variety of costumes would be welcome.

Perfect reference when teaching any Shakespeare play. This book contains 8.5x11" pages and pages of men, women and children wearing a variety of full color medieval and renaissance clothing styles. Very little text, which is exactly what I was looking for. Gave my students an idea what the characters may have looked like as we read Othello in class. It's OK if the time frame is a little off - I'm not a purist when it comes to which fabrics, threads and dyes were actually distributed along the clothing time continuum. I used this book to put a face to the name of each character in the play. Worked well.
