5.0 out of 5 stars In The Future, April 11, 2009
In the future, all books will be written like this -- a result of worldwide collaboration among people who are passionately committed to the subject matter and the product, while contributing to a worthwhile cause. Gavin Heaton and Drew McLellan have created a true phenomenon...one that will be studied for years and, I'm, be recognized as a turning point in our vision of the author: No longer is he or she a starving artist waiting tables by day and laboring alone late at night among his/her twelve cats in the attic. The author of the future will be a coordinator, conductor, and guide who directs a global workforce of the best and the brightest in completing the ultimate endeavor.

Full disclosure: I am one of the contributors.

Most important point: This book is one great read!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Read for Companies Considering Marketing with Web2.0 Resources, April 12, 2009
Chock full of great inspiration and information, the Age of Conversation2 provides a great resources for anyone who is considering marketing their company on the "next generation" of the internet. This book offers many different opinions and viewpoints from some of the most popular and well-read bloggers on the internet today. (Full disclosure: I am one of the 237 authors who contributed to this collaborative book.)

* Why are comments crucial in web2.0?
* How does the writing style differ from web 1.0?
* Who are the thought leaders?
* How can I get started? When is the right time?

This book is a great resource for someone who wants to tap into the power of the conversation, but who is not sure where to start or how to go from here.

It makes a great gift as well, especially since the profits go to a children's charity, so your purchase not only helps the recipient of the book, but also children in need.

Thanks to Drew & Gavin for pulling this book together!
