This book is a masterpiece and a work of art, as far as I'm concerned. It is also the kind of book I always dreamed of having as a child. Every page has been lovingly and painstakingly hand-crafted to bring all your favorite scenes to life. You'll feel like you're right there in Wonderland! My favorite page is the Rabbit's house with an overgrown Alice bursting out. The house is four dimensional, and you can even look in the windows and see carrot-patterened wallpaper! That's how much attention to detail there is! At the Mad Hatter's tea party, you'll find saucers made with foil, and the rabbit and some other animal characters have a furry texture. There is also a piece that opens up like a telescope, and allows you to peep down the rabbit hole. Every page has so much going on, and since your eyes can only absorb so much, you'll most likely discover something new on your second viewing. For example, the first time I read this book, I didn't notice that one of the white roses turns red, when you open a page. This book has six full page pop ups, and some smaller pop ups in the pages within the page. The price is right, too! I mean, you couldn't find six pop-up greeting cards for the same price. I also like how the illustrations are faithful to the orignal book. The house of cards attacking Alice is amazing. I even have this book spread open on my coffee table so I can display a different page each day, and just marvel at it!

My 2 kids are transfixed by this pop-up book. The vibrant colors and imaginative pop-ups are a wonder. We especially like the sequence that shows Alice falling down the rabbit hole.
Be careful buying this for younger kids. My 3-year old was drawn to the pop-ups like a moth to the flame, and he damaged a few of them.
This is a full version of the book - which is wonderful - since the small fold out sections with text also contain miniature pop-ups.

I've never written a review of any book before, but am compelled to do so now. (I'm not a very good writer!) I've been collecting pop-ups for a long time, and this is the Pop-Up to End All Pop-Ups!
This book exceeds all my expectations of any Pop-Up. Innovative, top quality, surprise after surprise, includes full story, just superb! I cannot give this book enough stars. If 5 is the highest, I give this book a 15! You will not be dissappointed!

This book is an incredible pop up book! I purchased it for my four year old daughter. There is too much text to actually read the story to her but we all know the story so we make it up and enjoy the pop ups. It is a book that requires supervision for younger children because the pop ups are delicate and amazing. It is a wonderful unique gift to give at birthday parties when everyone else gives toys! We love this book and have great interaction reading it and talking about the story and pop ups!

I purchased this book as the first pop-up book for my three-year old son and two-year old daughter. I knew it could be a risk, due to the fragile nature of pop-up books, however this one is truly a treat for my children, my wife, myself and everyone else who has seen it!
I'd recommend the book (for self-reading) to older children who know how the fragile the pop-ups can be, but if you read to your kids I recommend this to anyone. It's a classic story which inspires a child's imagination and has an excellent graphical presentation of the story which really captures my children's attention while they're read to.
I only gave this book four of five stars due to the small portions through-out most of the book which actually has the written text. These are also created with mini-pop-ups, but are not incorporated into the whole width and length of the book. Instead the main text of the book is grouped into small 3-4 inch wide pages with small text. Not something you want if you read to your children at bedtime with minimal lighting.
However, don't let this prevent you from buying the book! It is worth the price and has some of the most fantastic pop-ups I've ever seen!

Absolutely the best pop-up book I have ever seen. A collectible for sure. Not only do you have large pop-ups on each page, but you have smaller multiple ones on the pages, too!! Beautiful color and excitment for everyone, adults included!!
