What a GREAT hardcover collection for Spidey fans!, April 11, 2007
As primarily a Spider-Man fan I was reluctant to explore a silly sounding title focused on Mary Jane... little did I know what I was missing!
Since I kept hearing good things about the title and creative team (and I'm always looking for a good Spidey read), I picked up the first issue of Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane... and was totally hooked!
I shared the stories with my 10 year old niece and she loved it too, but this series is NOT just for girls... I've read rave reviews from the guys too.
I highly recommend SMLMJ... even to all you "mostly" Spider-Man fans. And this hardcover collection is the perfect way to get into this title if you've been curious.
Even though I already own the single issues AND paperbacks that are collected in this hardcover book, it is a MUST have for me... I love this little series that much!
This book will touch you, make you smile and make you anxious to find out what comes next!

MUST HAVE for Spider-Man fans, June 2, 2007
This is one of the greatest runs in Spider-Man comics history, and I've read every Amazing Spider-Man comic. This run is destined to be a classic along the lines of Stan Lee's Green Goblin, Gerry Conway's Gwen Stacy, Kraven's Last Hunt, McFarlane's Torment, Millar's Marvel Knights, etc. in the sense that SMLMJ is one of the best written, freshest, and most memorable Spider-Man series.
Mary Jane is the protagonist and she's friend's with all the Spider-Man classic characters. There's Peter Parker, Harry Osborn, Liz Allen, Flash Thompson, and even villains like Dr. Octopus, Electro and more.
Writer Sean McKeever keeps every issue funny, edgy, and addicting. Big things happen every issue and most stories have a twist element and big endings! It's perfect for all Spider-Man fans.
Extra features include a number of pages with script ideas, arc synopsis, numerous alternate covers, coloring processes, & creator bios. The comics look great printed OVERSIZED! This collection is definitely worth it and lots of fun.

The Most Popular "Super-hero's Girlfriend" has her own series!!!, February 17, 2009
If you aren't a fan of Mary Jane then you will be after reading this wonderful series.
Mary Jane is typical popular girl in highschool who loves to hang out with her friends at the local coffee shop, but romance is thick in the air with her crush on Spiderman and being wooed by Harry Osborne, unbeknownst to her that a long time friend is in love with her. Then a Homecoming night that leaves everyone speechless!
Be warned, if you are a hardcore action fan and love explosions, bullet's flying, and violence abound, then this comic isn't for you.
Spiderman Loves Mary Jane is more like a teen soap opera than an action comic, but it done very very tastefully and entertaining as well. If you enjoy stories centered around Love Triangles and unrequited love, then this is the comic for you.
Spiderman isn't the main focus in the comics being that the story focuses on Mary Jane and her point of view, but he does make many appearances throughout the series. Every scene between him and Mary Jane is sweet and endearing and leave you craving for more.
The story is clean and perfectly safe for all ages, though most likely young teenage girls will enjoy and relate to the comics. There is no swearing, no sexual innuendo *kissing and hand holding is the WORST you'll see in this comic* all the characters are modestly dressed, no reference to drugs or alcohol. There are very few scenes of violence, but each scene is tamed down, like what you would see in a Saturday morning cartoon.
