I purchased this book right on time! I was in the middle of looking for rare sex pistols ep's and albums, and i must say that this book has EVERYTHING! I have never before seen such a complete discography of all of the sex pistols albums and merchandise. This book tells you how many copies were made of each title, from what country, rare misprint pressings, with pictures and descriptions on most, If there isn't a picture, it gives you every peice of knowledge about the item, including serial numbers, etc. There are alot of fakes out on the internet for sale, and i can definatly say that this book saved me a ton of money, and it found me some really great deals on very hard to find merchandise that was out there for sale. Alot of sellers on the internet have either very limited knowledge of the product and it's true value, calling everything rare, then you will find at least 10-20 other copies of the same thing being offered. I felt like an idiot when i found out that there were pressings of the E.M.I. original release of "anarchy in the UK" from 1976. I had only seen the french pressings, and the later virgin pressings of this single.this album was banned in the UK, and you will find alot of the plain black covered ones, but to find the brown and red version with no cover label, that is a find! But, like i said, there are alot of fakes out there, and it wasn't until I got this book, that i knew exactly what the record looked like. I am talking about the 45 adaptor in the middle, down to the credits for production. I even found a very rare picture disk of the double album"the great rock and roll swindle" from japan, knew its worth, and got a one of a kind deal! This collectors book also has posters, flyers, even bootlegs. It gives you the full info on every item produced all over the world. If you are a serious collector, or even a beginning collector, this book is for you!

Not since DTSB showed me his house have I been so excited. Walsh give an in depth look at the lives and record cataolgue of the group of minks that were the sex pistols. The best c***in' book ever. Everyone from the hill to leitrim recomends that if you can read then this is the book for you, ya readins b******s ya. A truely head smashing read!
