2.0 out of 5 stars 787 sales brochure, January 14, 2008

If you are considering buying this book to get a deeper insight in cutting edge aerospace technology, you should probably buy something else.
True: areas like avionics, hydraulics, design tools, engines etc. are covered with one-pagers, but most of the 152 pages are about Boeing and McDonnel Douglas history and the book is awash with 787:s painted in different airline colors.
The book has a glossy sales brochure feel and is only worth a couple of hours browsing.

5.0 out of 5 stars nice, February 25, 2008

this book is a great decription of the new Boeing. It tells not only of new fuel cutting and aero breakthroughs but also of the global influence. It also explains of why Boeing chose to do what it is. I like it and I am not easy to please.
