In this collection of short stories by author Simon Just we find that things are not always as they seem. The binding of the book, with its two-cover, flip-book format, is our first hint. Once inside, the stories show us memories, relationships, reality, even sleep, turned on-end and twisted to an angle we rarely get the opportunity to view.
World, Other World, is an easy read with fourteen - at times familiar, at times strange - stories. The stories in the World side are general fiction and intriguing for any reader. The Other World stories, though speculative fiction, have characters and situations universal enough to make the non-science-fiction reader comfortable.
This collection would do well in the hands of those with short attention spans, travelers who would like something not too involving for plane trips, and those who wish they could read more, but do not have the time for a large novel.
