Excellent book for anyone who wants to learn more about medieval economy and regulations

I think anyone, who's interested in any kind of information about medieval economical regulations in england, can find related information in this book, as it provides information about the phillospohy behind the regulations, regulations themselves and even lots of relevant images and other art related data.
Just for example, any book on medieval diet and beverages in England will tell you about the assize of ale and bread, but this is one of the few books ive read on the subject, that actually goes beyoned that, and gives you some background about other regulations on these subjects as well.
