About the Author

Michael Dahl is the author of more than 100 books for children and young adults. He has twice won the AEP Distinguished Achievement Award for his nonfiction. Dahls Finnegan Zwake mystery series published by Simon & Schuster won rave reviews. Two of its titles were shortlisted for the Edgar and the Anthony mystery awards. He has also edited and written numerous graphic novels for younger readers. Dahl has spoken at schools, libraries, conferences, and bookstores across the U.S. Dahl currently lives in a haunted house in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This is a fun book for teaching kids how to count to 10.

What I also liked was that each illustration had a hidden number in it. So after a kid has seen the book a few times, you can have them look for the hidden number in the illustration.
