Product Description

Are you frustrated with discipline books that promise results but turn out to be gimmicks? Are you too busy raising children to stop and read about discipline? Debbie understands. Three children, a full-time business, and normal family chaos demanded a new approach. Debbie developed a method of discipline that proved to produce a lifetime of success for the entire household. Her methods don’t require learning fancy techniques or enduring exhausting psychobabble. By designing a plan for your family, you can unlock the mystery of discipline, even for the most unruly child or seemingly hopeless situation. Discipline Exposed reveals why discipline works and gives you the tools to embrace it in your home. You will be taught how to inspire your child to make good decisions. You will learn how to hear the clues to your child’s inner thoughts and how to make them work for you rather than against you. With Discipline Exposed, you will be able to use your mommy or daddy “detective powers” to solve the puzzle of behavior. Understanding discipline—what it can and can’t do—will set you free to have fun with your children. Learn how to guide your children on a path to excellence without interfering in God’s purpose for their life. Replace whining with laughter and live in harmony with your children. You can experience satisfaction and joy in your role as parent. It all will become clear once you read Discipline Exposed. Debbie Jansen is a family specialist, counselor, and former owner of an in-home daycare. She is founder of The Family Training Center and has written the curriculum for its eighty classes. Featured on ABC’s Morning Exchange, Debbie is the director of counseling for Lazar Spinal Care and has worked with state and local agencies in parent–child relations. She is also a featured speaker at conferences. Debbie and her husband, Ron, with whom she has three grown children, live in North Canton, Ohio. Visit Debbie at debbiejansen.com.

5.0 out of 5 stars Discipline Exposed - A must have book for home library, January 26, 2009
Debbie Jansens' new book, Discipline Exposed, has so much to offer families of young children today. I read the book with the idea of gaining information to pass along to my grown children to help with my grandchildren. Even though the six grandchildren range from a three year old girl to a fourteen year old quarterback, her ideas work no matter the age group you wish to teach discipline. One of our grandkids is autistic and many of Debbie's ideas were useful for the disabled, but also for those that function according to society's rules. A must have book for every mother and grandmother.
