It has been said that when you raise a child you have 15 years to prepare...When an elderly parent needs help, you may have 15 hours to prepare. Pamela Pope has written a guide to demystify the process of caring for an elderly loved one in need. Her book is written from the perspective of a professional who knows the right questions to ask, and gives insights that will save time, money, and most importantly, emotional stress for all concerned.

From the top five aging-in-place concerns & solutions, to the five basic questions to ask when considering assisted living facilities, this book addresses the essentials and much more. You would have to hire multiple professionals from various disciplines to get this kind of information--and it can be found in this single resource.

This is a smart guide from a seasoned professional.

I have never seen a self-help text as essential and clearly directed as this one. The urgency of its message is transparent. Bravo and thanks to Ms. Pope for bring to us a diagram for protecting our future and empowering us with the information to secure our own best welfare, as well as that of our loved ones as they age.
