Product Description

President Ronald Reagan was also facing an economic downturn. An action plan was created allowing the White House to lead by actions, not by reaction

5.0 out of 5 stars A Rare Insider Information to Reagan's Administration, May 21, 2009
By C. Tang (Stillwater, OK USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
My first impression to this report is, "why wasn't this released earlier?" This little report, drafted by Pres. Reagan's staff members, gives us the insider view of Pres. Reagan's plan for his administration in its early and critical days. Many have compared Pres. Obama with Pres. Reagan, but after reading this report you'll see that Pres. Obama's policy is the antithesis of Pres. Reagan's policy. There are many valuable insights one can glean from this document, which are applicable to our present day situation. The introduction by Arthur Laffer is very well written and it positions the readers with the proper perspective to this document. This is a very insightful piece of document to anyone: supporters or critics of Pres. Reagan. One may be critical of Pres. Reagan, but one cannot, with intellectual honesty, deny that his policy did work splendidly for this nation. In my book, Pres. Reagan is the greatest president in modern history of the U.S.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly the opposite of what Obama is doing now, July 5, 2009
By Capt USMC "Erich" (Atsugi, Japan) - See all my reviews
To the point book. The book is a quick read and describes what Reagan had to do to be successful after taking over from a disasterous previous Carter Administration. This book is very important now, and clearly the Obama Administration has not opened it and read this book. If they read it and learned from it, the country would not be in this mess it is in today.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reagan's Initial Action Project, July 19, 2009
I am a Reagan fan, so I am prejudiced, but it was a well written book that showed why Reagan was a great president. I recommend it to all open minded Americans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book For Reagan Fans
Not much to say about this book, since it is incredibly SHORT. But the intro, by Economist Arthur B. Laffer (Creator of the LAFFER CURVE)is a great intro. Read more
