Well, I would like to know what is pushing the release dateback for this book? Waiting for the upgrade to 3.7 was bad enough, andto be frank, I really don't see anything too improved! I know there are added features, but shouldn't Microsoft and SoftImage concentrate on the old bugs and fix those instead of adding new features that just added new problems? Call me old fashioned but Softimage is so strong in what it was created to do that it should get all its little nuances fixed before they start adding new features. If any new feature should be added, they should write it so that it could take full addvantage of multithreading on NT. Wonder when that will happen?

this is worse than waiting for software!!,

I ordered this book a year ago!first it was pushed back to June of 97 now September....its almost as bad as Soft is on releasing the bloody software. Id be impressed if ANYTHING related to softimage is ever released on its announced date...not months later! PS: I think I could of done written a book and released in the time Ive waited for this lemon.

I think this book (SOFTIMAGE 3d Techinches) will be finish when the Microsoft finish the next version of Softimage...They need to finish these books now!!! Tankx! :)
