I am an elementary art teacher and I find this book full of great ideas for my students. While the fabric projects are good for at home crafts, I use the patterns and templates with paper instead and the kids love to make things 3-D. For the school Carnival we were able to make some cool new games that are fairly indestructible and very colorful! Lots of fun.

Easy to follow instructions and excellent illustrations make this fabric craft book a real gem. Fabric and fusible interfacing are at the center of the book. However, the kids can use construction paper and glue and then you can get them off and running on their own. The book also includes the template patterns for the projects. How much easier can they make it! This book shares lots of creative ideas and I would recommend it to any crafting family.

I admire the creative reviewers who recommended using the handy templates this book contains with other materials, such as construction paper BUT I would be a lot happier with this book if it offered a few no-sew projects that don't require fast2fuse. I work with a very young age group, and there's no way my group of three-year-olds are going to be able to iron their little projects. I wouldn't have purchased this book if I'd realized every project called for fast2fuse.
