Product Description

Parsley exposes the failure of the current generation of believers to engage the culture, present a relevant gospel, and lead/influence through service - and paints a vivid picture of the cost and implications of that failure.
Parsley explains how the culture wars have entered a new, critical phase for the U.S., and discusses the areas in which this war is being fought (Cultural, Scientific, Geopolitical, Media and Academia). He presents an understanding of the paradigms, assumptions, and values that animate the humanist, secularist and neo-pagan enemies of Christianity in America and offers a strategy for winning this "war" - what he calls a New Great Awakening - and how evangelism, social action the engagement of culture fit into that plan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Book of the Year!, June 8, 2007
No matter your politics, if you think our country is headed in the wrong direction, you ought to read this book. It goes above partisanship to get to the source behind our nation's problems. Rod Parsley spells out a very reasonable solution to our collective ills. Remember that Bible-thing? Turns out, there's a lot of answers in there that would do our country and our American culture a lot of good -- not conservative, or liberal, and not even moderate...just good sense and common decency. I don't agree with Parsley on everything, but he makes a lot of sense this time around.

If you agree with the Republicans on abortion, school choice, and lower taxes, this book is going to strike a cord. If you agree with the Democrats on affirmative action and prevailing wage, you will find plenty here for you too. If you're worried that Hollywood and college professors are teaching your kids to hate their country and have no respect for anyone other than themselves, then you ought to read this book and help stop this madness before we lose America for good. I think this was the best book I've read in a long time. Consider it...highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative, June 16, 2007
By I. Lopez "Isaac" (miami florida) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Parsley details how historical philosophies(false ones), i.e. Marxism, deism, monism, secular humanism etc,are a rampant chant heard on university campuses and their destructive and negative impact on society today and and the past. Read the book with an open mind you'll get some very good information out of it, I don't agree with everything but I was surprised he came out with this, it really deserves a wider readership; especially Christian readers.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword, June 8, 2007
Rarely in today's society, flooded by a myriad of trite opinions, does a book carry with it the force to amend a culture, much less revolutionize it. Culturally Incorrect is such a book.

In 1836 the playwright, Edward Bulwer - Lytton penned words that would forever define the power of a well communicated worldview. In his play, "Richelieu", Cardinal Richelieu learns of a plot against him manufactured by a monk. Since as a priest he could not challenge the monk to physical combat, Richelieu issued this statement which today rings true for Dr. Parsley's new book:

Beneath the rule of men entirely great,
The pen is mightier than the sword.

This book is aggressively straightforward, addressing the left, the right, and everything in-between with a compassion that silences its radical detractors. Culturally Incorrect truly is a call to arms for everyone who cares about the future of America. Dr. Parsley makes it unmistakably clear that this battle is one to be fought in the arena of ideas by the very thing that had the power to create the universe; words!

This book is not only a vital tool for every concerned citizen, it is an indispensable weapon that every Christian must have in their arsenal. Needless to say, I highly recommend that you buy this book today!
