Her insight into the underworld is stunning, she writes like satin with a cold chill down your spine. A book you must finish. --Cheryl

Her talent for words will leave you hungry for more. The words flow like silk and give you a chill up and down your spine. --Nikki

The Darkness of Lanaia s Garden by Lanaia Lee is aptly titled. Her book is filled with prose about life s darkness and human foibles. However, it is a fresh darkness, not at all filled with self-pity. The poetry is written in an, It is what it is fashion that I found appealing. I particularly enjoyed, Silent Predator , as it gives a heartfelt warning about stress. The poem, Dreadful Childhood , was especially poignant, felt confessional. Dark poetry is not my usual cup of tea, but I have to applaud Ms. Lee for her work. --Angelia

This review is from: The Darkness of Lanaia's Garden (Perfect Paperback)
The Darkness of Lanaia's Garden by Lanaia Lee is aptly titled. Her book is filled with prose about life's darkness and human foibles. However, it is a fresh darkness, not at all filled with self-pity. The poetry is written in an, `It is what it is' fashion that I found appealing. I particularly enjoyed, `Silent Predator', as it gives a heartfelt warning about stress. The poem, `Dreadful Childhood', was especially poignant, felt confessional. Dark poetry is not my usual cup of tea, but I have to applaud Ms. Lee for her work.
