Format: Paperback Verified Purchase

This is a series of essays by some of the top historians and essayists in the field. It is a gem for a historical novelist. I referred to it today. I bought it for one specific article and have already used three in my current works in progress. While it may not be for everyone, those who have an interest in the role of women in medieval and early modern Scotland should have this on their shelf.
