Small Sweaters: Colorful Knits For Kids is a whole book of sweaters for children. Colorful, festive sweaters. The designs in Small Sweaters incorporate lots of animals (horses, dogs, birds, fish) plus elements from traditional Norwegian folk art presented in the vivid, unexpected colors of the Nordic landscape. Clearly written charts and graphs make the instructions easy to follow; and there are color photographs of the completed garments. A unique chapter provides generic patterns for making a hat, mittens, and socks with leftover yarn. All the patterns in Small Sweaters can be adapted for machine knitting as well. Small Sweaters is a wonderful addition to any personal knitter's collection or a public library needlecraft bookshelf! -- Midwest Book Review
