Dora Heldt was born in 1961 on the North Sea island of Sylt in Germany, and she trained as a bookseller. She has worked as a sales representative for a major German publisher since 1992, and lives in Hamburg. Her novel VACATION WITH DAD was on the German bestseller list for 61 weeks.
