This is a 216-page paperback loaded with colourful illustrations from 100 artists, with each taking 2 pages. Depending on the size of the drawings, many are full page, each artist has around 5 pieces of art featured. I'm only able to recognise less than a handful of artists from the hundred.

You'll get to see a lot of talented but lesser known artists. The variety is incredible. Each artist has a short profile written in Japanese and English. Websites and email contact for the artists are also provided.

The quality of work showcased is top notch, with paintings from different style, genre and setting. You'll get to see designs from the simple schoolgirls to the intricate dresses. There aren't any nudity and not much girls in bikinis, nor will you see popular cult characters (maybe there are but I can't recognise them). For some, the backgrounds are as highly detailed as the character designs themselves. Many of the artwork have actually appeared on publications and online.

For anyone who likes Bishojo, this book features a selection of art that will not disappoint.

Just as the title, this book is beautiful. I didn't knew most of the artist, only the most known for other media (like Yasu, Nishimata, Vofan, Kei, Murata), so this book has showed me the most impressive works of digital art. Some where the classic moe style, and other where shocking in different aspects, some in colors, or in composition, or character design.
It offers about 3-6 works per artist, not much, but a lot of artist so it makes a great combo.

It also tells you the equipment and software they use, and their website and contact if you want to hire them or see more works. Most of them have a pixiv account, where I found even more beautiful works.

Some people collect stamps, coins, baseball cards or comic books. I don't do that. Instead, I collect all the best art books. If you collect art books like I do I would say definitely buy this one. I have to say this is definitely one of the best I've seen. The artwork is just amazing. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I definitely would. This really is a "must have book"

This book doesn't teach you how to become a better artist. It just shows a collection of artwork from some of the best artists. I don't mind if an art book doesn't teach me any new techniques as long as the artwork in the book somehow inspires me to become a better artist. This book makes me want to practice harder so that someday I could be as good as these artists.

BUY THIS BOOK !!!!! TRUST ME YOU WILL LIKE IT !!!!!

This book is a masterpiece--it showcases the best works of 100 of the best "bishojo" artists. Granted, each artist only gets two or three pages, but the art is fantastic, and there is a great variety in the styles of the illustrations. There are artists who are familiar--Range Murata, KEI, and Jyu Ayakura, for instance. Also, the book is bilingual, having both Japanese and English text.

Granted, some of the art does go into the "moe" territory, but this is still an excellent artbook, and well worth the cost. Highly recommended, not just for fans of anime or manga but also for those interested in great art in general.
