"If This World" Most of Jaci's songs you'll find ethier have a na na, doo do, or la la starting it or in it. Take for example "We Can make a Diffrence" and "Glory". Anyhow, this song had a good message. Pretty ok.

"Un Lugar Celestial(A Heavenly Place)" I love this song! I'll put it as #3. Her voice is great on it. Great title.

"Flower in the Rain" In the beginning of the song, it probebly sounds pretty dull. But amazily it turns into a pretty ballad. One of her great slow songs.

"On My Knees" This is #1. The musical background on this one is amazing. They shaped this song perfectly for Jaci.

"Shelter" Her duet with Chris Rodriguez on this one is pretty good. Their harmony is on the edge and catchy.

"Baptize Me" A good baptism song. I like the chorus. I also like how she stops and talks in the middle.

"We Can Make a Diffrence" I really like how Jaci goes off on the end. A good beat to this song.

"I Promise" This is #2. Very pretty song. I love the lyrics to this one.

"We will Overcome" Not much to this song

"Thief of Always" I like the beginning to this song. A good song for her voice.

Jaci Valesquez will go far with her beautiful and very talented voice.

Though young to start as a female gospel artist, that didn't stopped Jaci to prove her vocal prowess. Jaci sings like a pro...she shows that good music comes from heart. In this time of discovery, you can feel her sincerity and joy of just praising God. Her debut album is a jam-packed of best pop songs with messages more on encouragement, challenge and passion for the Lord.

Among her 10 songs, the following 9 songs are my favourites and plus factors (in order):

1st "Flower In The Rain" - I don't know why, but I always ended up loving Chris Eaton songs and so far this is one of the best written. So simple, yet so striking. A song about humbleness and willingness to open and surrender every strength to the Lord (this should be the carrier song).

2nd "On My Knees" - Here, Jaci performs superbly! Full of emotion and sincereness...no doubt this was awarded as Dove's best recorded song of the year 1998.

3rd "If This World" - Great opening song! A title song leaving you with a question "If this world..." but with answers that God will "comfort you and lift you up". A song finely co-written by Michelle Tumes.

4th "Baptize Me" - Very nice...very cool! Though I won't recommend playing it for a baptismal ceremony...this is a bit slow rock. I like the way Jaci talks at the middle of the song, so tranquil.

5th "We Will Overcome" - Another cool song! Yes, whatever we face...don't be afraid `cause we will overcome. Seems like Jaci was enjoying singing this song, inasmuch as I was enjoying it too!

6th "Thief Of Always" - A very simple but deep song. Another piece written by Chris Eaton - the poetic genius...you can tell from the title itself (love it!). A reminder for everyone that "time waits for no man".

7th "Shelter" - Music sounds like in the 70's retro. A cool duet with Chris Rodriguez keeps you continuously upbeat until the end. Truly, God is the "fortress that we need".

Plus factors:

8th "I Promise" - A sweet and wonderful love song co-written by Jaci herself (yes, she also write songs!). Feel Jaci's personal touch...genuine experience! Nice acoustic guitar!

9th "We Can Make A Difference" - Fast-paced sounds and faced-paced challenge! May we share the gospel through our daily, simple and godly living with the Lord.

Yes, you may hear a lot of "dududu"..."nanana"...but hey these just makes the songs perfect. It let's you keeps singing with Jaci.

To Jaci, continue serving the Lord through music. You have lots of fan here in the Philippines. Heard you will be having a concert here...looking forward to see that!
