About Freud Industrial Blades
Freud’s industrial series blades were designed for the serious woodworker. Available in a variety of styles for different applications, LU blades feature thick carbide tips, precision-tensioned bodies found in every Freud quality blade. Some LU blades include a red Teflon coating that helps reduce friction, heat build-up, and gumming -- which prolongs the life of the blade.
About this Industrial Blade
This Freud industrial blade cuts acrylics, polycarbonates and other plastics, leaving a smooth finish without melting. By combining MicroGrain carbide tips with a specially modified triple chip grind this blade will give a clean smooth cut with less heat keeping, which keeps the cut edge crisp.
Applications
Use this blade with any stock that risks melting or warping, including all plastics.
