5.0 out of 5 stars Oh, man, my sides hurt from laughing, December 21, 2000
By A Customer
This stuff is really funny but also it has a point. The p oint is if telemarketers are gonna keep on bothering and bothering us why shouldn't a guy like Tom bother them right back, especially if it comes out SO FUNNY that we really can be entertained by it all on this CD. My brother turned me on to this after hearing it on Stern or somewhere like that. So get the CD and next time one of those idiots call you can have something better to say to them then "sorry, not interested".

1.0 out of 5 stars Fading Fast..., December 2, 2000
By A Customer
I get the feeling that Virgin Records needed to squeeze out something FAST. Was Tom was too busy touring across the country in that "Revenge Mobile" to have time to record some REAL calls? The result here is anything BUT a rembrandt. These are out takes, throw-out calls and general garbage. Just when you think a funny confrontation is about to develope, the call ends in luke-warm fashion. A hellarious prank call should elicit something more than the call subject hanging up. Tom only amuses himself with this CD effort. There aren't many laughs, and before you know it the CD over. Since when are albums supposed to be about 30 minutes long?! This is half an album for the price of one full album. Unless you're a serious collector, go purchase Jerky Boys I and II, Touch Tone Terrorist III, Roy D. Mercer I, Jeff Foxworthy, etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars Oh my god. I just pooped a J. A J for JESUS!, January 7, 2006
By JOHN NATHAN "darkblood" (Dallas, Tx United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This being the sequel to Tom Mabe's album "Revenge on the Telemarketers: Round One", he does mostly the same stuff in this album as he did in the previous one. Random telemarketers call him, and he puts on a big act trying to act as crazy as possible. Generally he has a pre-scripted act ready for them, as he confuses the telemarketers or at least puts them in uncomfortable positions. This is most evident when he makes it known that he's talking to the telemarketer while sitting on the toilet with the exclamation "Oh my god. I just pooped a J."

The CD is a fun way to spend an hour or so, but the jokes get a bit old after 3 or 4 runs through the CD. This CD would be good on a road trip to help pass the time.

The guy kind of crosses the line to obnoxious from funny. A couple of them are OK but it gets old fast. He's a one trick pony. Read more

I bought this CD along with Roy D Mercer thinking it may be funny. Nothing about Tom Mabe is funny. The tracks are pointless and dumb. None of them have a funny conclusion. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Tom Mabe is HILARIOUS
This CD is just as good as round 1. Telemarketers are bottom dwelling scum suckers and anytime you can successfully embarass or discommode one, it's a major coup! Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny stuff... I about wrecked my car
Round 2 is funny, original and wacky. I am a true believer in what Tom Mabe is doing. He is the voice for all of us that don't have the gumption to tell the telemarketers how much... Read more
