Product Description

Editorial Review

Tigger is indeed a "wonderful thing"--a bouncy storybook tiger who embodies all the exuberance and glee of early childhood. This orange-and-black resident of the Hundred Acre Wood is ready to play. The soft, velour-covered animal has sensors in his ears, paws, feet, nose, tail, chin, and tummy--each with a unique sound effect. Once any of the 10 sensors are activated, Tigger starts a game in which he asks players to "tug" or "squeeze" any of those spots, and rewards successful play with "Tiggerific!" As the child improves, Tigger speeds up and makes the sequences of squeezes longer, similar to the game Simon. With unlimited combinations and the opportunity for challenges among friends, this is a game of skill that won't be forgotten so quickly. --Pam Lauer

5.0 out of 5 stars A lot of fun, but didn't last very long, December 8, 2002

My daughter received this for her second birthday. She loved it. It helped her learn the names of different body parts and was a lot of fun. Her daddy even liked playing with it when got up to the higher levels and the music played really fast. Unfortunately, about a month ago it just stopped working. We figured the batteries were dead, but when we replaced them it still didn't work. So overall, it lasted about 4 months. Quite a bummer because we really liked it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Educational..., July 22, 2003

But we have had a couple of the buttons stop working. Luckily one is the hand and the other is the ear so we just have to tell our daughter to push the left one instead. So it is effective in teaching left and right, because the right one is broken! It does well teaching children memorization and it can even stump my husband and I (level 6&7). We don't like the fact that as the music ends you can not make a guess, making it harder for the youngest users (18 months-2 years), who need a little more thought process, to guess correctly. Overall we are pretty glad that we purchased this product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Loud and obnoxious, March 10, 2003

My 2-yr old son loves Tigger but has trouble warming up to this one. It's too loud and he doesn't understand that he is supposed to squeeze the body parts instead of pointing to it. Even when he's right, it tells him he's wrong because he didn't apply enough pressure to the sensor. He gets frustrated because he knows he indicated the right part.
