5.0 out of 5 stars Keep your eyes on this band, November 30, 2004
By Brandonr4 (Ellisville, MS United States) - See all my reviews
I first heard of TRUSTcompany when I saw the music video for "Downfall." I thought the song was ok, but didn't think much about buying their album. Then I heard the song "Falling Apart" on the radio, loved the song, and downloaded the album. After I found out how good the album was, I bought it, and have bought just about any CD that has a song from this band on it, including this CD. Here is my review of this CD.

Downfall - The first single off their album, "The Lonely Position of Neutral", and the best choice in my opinion. It gives you a good view of what their album is like: hard-hitting and worth hearing. The song itself is a song to rock out to and let some anger out, especially when Kevin, the lead singer, starts screaming. *****

Today - A non album track worth hearing. This song is the reason I bought this CD. When I downloaded their album, this song came with it, and this song blew me away. Heavy guitar riffs and great drumming, but with sad and haunting lyrics. "Without a sound you say, I am yours. I felt myself today, in your arms". *****

Hover(Quiet Mix) - There are two different versions of Hover. First there's the version you can rock out to, that is on their album. This one, on the other hand, is a very slow version, with nothing but piano and violens. You can hear this version on the Underworld soundtrack. The piano, the violens, and Kevin's soft singing make this song a haunting and incredibly beautiful song that could possibly jerk a few tears. It sends chills down my spine everytime I hear it. *****

Downfall Music Video - A great video that is worth seeing at least once. The video shows Kevin walking around with a force around him that blows people away...literally. Every time he passes by someone, this force blows them away with their hair flying around and chairs tipping over, like Kevin has the wind power of a tornado following him or something. Not a bad video to have. ****

I'd recommend anyone to buy this CD and/or TRUSTcompany's album. The music they produce is incredible and (to many people) sounds a lot like Linkin Park. If you like Linkin Park, you will like TRUSTcompany. I can't wait to buy TRUSTcompany's new album "True Parallels" when it comes out. This band rocks and will become big someday I'm sure. So go buy some TRUSTcompany music already!
