Editorial Reviews

From the Actor

Too many times players work on fancy moves that they can never pull off in games. All the top soccer players in the world rely on very simple moves or feints. The difference is that they can do them at top speed, under prssure from opponents, and with perfect execution.

Product Description

A collection of 20 different moves that will leave your opponent standing. Each move is detailed and shown at match speed and in slow motion. What appears to be complex is made easy for players of all ages and abilities. Plus, in this easy to learn system you get to see World Class players putting the moves on their opponents.

5.0 out of 5 stars 20 Moves - 20 Reasons to Own This DVD!, June 14, 2004
By A Customer
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This DVD delivers as advertised. It is very attractively put together and altogether well-done. They show each move many times in different ways before going on to the next move so you can really see. From front, side, with/without defenders, etc. Just about every single move features very nice footage showing some world class player putting this move on someone at full game speed and it's actually very exciting to watch. Makes you want to press pause and go out and start trying right away yourself. And, of course, you can. Honestly, in some ways I find this VCR/DVD instruction superior to a soccer camp (I attended two when I was younger). The camps were excellent, but after five days, just a memory. You get to keep the DVD, it never gets tired of showing something you're having difficulty with, etc. An excellent value in my opinion for anyone wanting to learn about the game of soccer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Covers all the juking moves very well, August 16, 2005
I coach two teams - my 8 and 13 year old boys teams - and found this very valuable for teaching myself stuff that I then demonstrate in practice and ask the players to try. The 7-9 year olds actually pick it up better - the teenagers are "too cool for school" to do anything they haven't done since they were 6.

It is important not to underestimate kids and I found the U10 age group is ideal for teaching these juking moves since they are only just getting into passing and still like to work their way through the opposing pack.

The DVD covers each move many times from different angles, and in slow motion and regular speed. They use regular players not some kids fom central casting which is nice.

About 1/2 my kids get all the moves right but ALL of the kids develop better ball handling and are ready to take on opponents and leave them standing.

There's a little clip from an adult game for each move, and it is very helpful watching, for example, Maradonna doing "the Maradonna."

And let me tell you, there is nothing sweeter than watching a pudgy little 8 year old do a perfect Maradonna around a big athletic 9 year old leaving him standing there scratching his head.

I can give it to the older boys to watch on their own but the younger ones are too impatient to sit still and watch so they rely on me digesting it and teaching them.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Kids Love it!, June 10, 2003
We got this DVD a couple months back, and my kids have watched it dozens of times. They practice the moves in front of the TV, then they go in the yard and prctice on each other for hours on end. Great Job guys!
