When introduced in 1962, the Samba was the first football training shoe developed for frozen pitches. The Samba was used to train for the '62 World Cup and quickly established itself as the dominant indoor football boot. The current form was introduced in the early '70s. Durable full-grain leather upper with suede reinforced overlays. Three zone outsole traction. Stop-turn-grip zones guarantee secure footing at all times.

I gave the men's "Adidas Samba" 4 out of 5 stars. This product with it's great looks and extremely comfortble feel is great over a short period of time but the color wears out in the long haul. If you spent money above the purchase price to maintain the product, it would be good in the long run, however after 4 weeks within purchasing it the black model fades so bad that it looks green. That was the only flaw that I found. Otherwise the "Adidas Samba" is such a great product that for the rest of my life I will put my trust in and only purchase "Adidas" shoe products.

I am about ready to purchase Samba pair number 3. I bought my first over two years ago and have absolutely loved them since. They are incredibly comfortable, and last a long time. I am now retiring my first pair of Sambas, after I got pair number two they got delegated to work detail. I've finally worn a hole in the soles, though the rest of the shoes are still going strong after nearly daily use for two years. I'm getting number three just to "stock up."
