5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product!, June 5, 2009

If you need a sharp cheap lens this is a very good one. I'm very happy with it for the price. I had a Tamron zoom and the pictures were blurry, this lens is far better with nice sharp photos.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Well I took a great deal of test shots and decided to keep this lens because it was better than my Pentax 50-200 lens at distance. Only in that it appeared to take identical photo's with my K10d, only an expected increase in telephoto comparison on my computer. The image was precisely what I am looking for.
All the discusions aside, it works well with my camera. I imagine that all the learned discussions will continue about film vs digital lens focusing on sensors etc.
It did not take better pictures than my 18-250 lens, but again it outzoomed it, with comparable quality.
It's a specialized lens to me. Inexpensive and better than I had expected.
