The Sony MDR-7505 Professional Sealed Ear Stereo Headphones feature a closed, supara-arural swivel earcup design. A gold-plated match plug ensures strong connectivity. The headphone's 40 millimeter driver with a neodymium magnet handles 1000 milliwats of power and high-quality sound reproduction with a frequency response of 16 Hz to 22,000 Hz. The swivel mount allows flexible positioning and off-ear monitoring suitable for live sound engineers and DJs. The headphones comes with a soft case for portable protective storage and a 9.8 foot cord.

Pros:
-Superb sound quality.
-Surprisingly good job of keeping out background noise.
-They appear to be well made.

Cons:
-Headphones feel uncomfortable on the ears, especially if you wear glasses, I've owned them over a year and this has not improved.
-Headphones are larger than I expected.

I've had these headphones since 2000. They are the best headphones I have ever used. They are very durable, have great sound, and you can order replacement parts from Sony. I have used them for live sound production and love the reversible, swivel earcups. Another nice feature is the built-in adapter plug which allows them to be used with either 1/8" headphone jacks or 1/4" headphone jacks. The only part I have had to replace is the earpad cushions due to wear (and those were kind of expensive to order from Sony).

These are seriously the best. Yes they may be pretty old and they're not all shiny and silver, but if you're going more for sound quality than looks, then these are for you.

I'm a DJ, and my roommate's a DJ. He's had these headphones for over 11 years and they're still perfect. No sound lost. Vocals are clear and are not muffled by the bass. Bass is awesome! Really clear sound. I find them extremely comfortable to wear for long periods, but I have small head and small ears, they may be less friendly to those with bigger heads/ears.

All in all these are wonderfully functional headphones with great sound and are sturdy enough to hold up to years of DJ abuse. :) Five stars baby!
