This album is really good! It's the first Nelly Furtado album I bought but I'm so glad I did... Her music just takes you away to exotic places and foreign cultures...
Songs:
1. One-trick Pony: the first one and a real gem. Great lyrics, great voice, and the Kronos Quartet sounds great on it.

2. Powerless: Guess we all know that one. What I like so much on this song is the mediterranean touch: it really carries you away to a foreign country... Great singing, and the banjo just makes it complete.

3. Explode: I really like the lyrics of this song, they're really deep. In the beginning it may sound a bit monotone, but you forget that when you hear the great bridge near the end. Great song!

4. Try: This song brings you to tears. It's beautiful, really soft in the beginning and then building up to the powerful and overwhelming end. Great lyrics too.

5. Fresh off the Boat: Not my favorite, this one. The lyrics aren't bad, and the singing is as always good, but it becomes annoying when you listen to it too much.

6. For�a: Defenitely one of my favorites. This song really just makes you wanna move around and dance. Great energy! Amazing song! Again, the Banjo in it sounds great. A gem!

7. The Grass is Green: The lyrics seem a little poor to me, but the chorus is great. Not the best song, but not bad at all!

8. Picture Perfect: This one too starts slowly and becomes big and beautiful near the end. Great lyrics, amazing singing, great song! Another gem!

9. Saturdays: This may sound a bit easy and amateur, but I love it. Her laughing near the end just makes me love her even more!

10. Build You Up: Great! Simply great! The lyrics are good, but it's her voice, and the big feelings in it, that make this song wonderful.

11. Island of Wonder: Definity not my favorite, and that because of Caetano Veloso I guess. I just don't like his voice. It's such a pity, cause the part that Nelly sings sounds great.

12. Childhood dreams: One of my favorites. Her voice sounds so beautiful in that one, and the lyrics are really good. Great song to end a great album!
