Product Description

Put your movie knowledge to the test with Screen Test, the DVD trivia board game. Packed with movie trivia, film clips and questions spanning decades, all from MGM, one of Hollywood's biggest studios.

As you make your way around the board you'll face questions from different movie game categories, like Showtime, Script Test, Take Two, Spotlight, Star Struck, Now Showing and Random. Every question is split into Easy, Medium and Hard difficulty levels, so everyone's in with a chance to beat that movie know-it-all and win the game.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst DVD Movie Trivia Game EVER, November 21, 2004
Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
I don't know who MGM thought that this game was for, but it is not a game for the masses. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable in movie trivia compared to the average person. Not only did I not know half the movies, but some of the questions were so hard that the game is near impossible. The object of the game is to be the first to anwser enough questions correctly to go around the board and get to the end. After an hour of play the two friends and I that were playing gave up since we only were maybe a 1/4 of the way around (and we were helping eachother out with the anwsers and the game gave us a few 'move forward 3 spaces'!) and having zero fun.

A list of the movies that came up during our game:

The Party
Cyborg
The Great Escape
Men at Work
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
Agent Cody Banks
A Guy Thing
The French Lieutenant's Woman
Pork Chop Hill
Tank Girl
The Holcroft Covenant
To Live and Die in L.A.
The Prince and the Passion
Mosquito Squadron
Dr. Phibes Rises Again!
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Wild Orchid
Getting Even With Dad

Not exactly a list of great movies or even anything reasonably new. The pieces that came with the game are just a black and white cut out that and seemed pretty cheap to me. I gave this game 3 stars for education, just because nearly all the anwsers were a learning experience for me.

Final verdit: Avoid this game unless your are an MGM executive.

Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
this game was horrible! Very boring! The dvd keeps replaying the same scenes over and over before you even get through the game. It was the worst movie we've ever played. DON'T waste your money!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Sorry but this is BAD!!, January 1, 2005
Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
I have to agree with everyone else on this game it's really terrible! Which is sad because it's basic playing rules are well thought out. The movies they except you to know are just crazy. Buy "Scene It" instead.
