Biography

Lifehouse is an American rock band formed in 1996 under the original name Blyss.

After one EP as Blyss, Diff's Lucky Day (1999), the band changed to Lifehouse for No Name Face in 2000. The success of the album was due in part to the hit single "Hanging by a Moment" and much of the focus was on the frontman and creative force in the band, Jason Wade.

I have already previously reviewed the new Lifehouse album and purchased this CD for two different reasons. This is the Japanese release version of the smash hit album by Lifehouse from 2005 which includes 3 new bonus previously unreleased songs 'Today', 'Along The Way' and 'Through These Times' which are wonderful songs. This CD also includes a very special multimedia enhanced section that can be played on PC's and most Mac operating systems. For any Lifehouse fan this CD should not be missed for any reason, whilst the songs from 1 to 12 are the same as the US release album this album comes with added extras.

The enhanced version contains a special LIVE release play of 'You & Me' which is probably the most romantic song released this year. It also comes with the 'Making of You And Me Video' which is a great 10 minute video where you can watch Jason Wade and the others be themselves and learn more about what made them sing the songs from this monumental album.

The bonus songs have been previously unreleased and are notably called by Wade as 'B-sides' but these songs would make a great addition on the next Lifehouse album. This is a 5 star stellar CD for the above reasons and also because I love Lifehouse. Their music is soft, inspiring and romantic with all their albums being winners. And Wade has one great masterful voice for this type of emotional songs.
