Barbie dolls have always been very fashion forward in style and the Fashion Fever series unveils an updated wardrobe collection highlighting the latest trends. This Teresa doll wears a cropped pink boat-neck top embellished with a shawl collar and bow and bell sleeves in a pink chiffon print. Two pink-and-yellow striped ruffles at the bottom of her white twill skirt transform the mini from frumpy to fabulous. Teresa is also smartly accessorized in pink platform sandals, a yellow transparent plastic purse, and an alternate white handbag with a kitty cat face. While the Fashion Fever dolls still possess figures that are unattainable for most (a common complaint among Moms), they are somewhat empowering for those girls who are not bleach blonde and blue-eyed as these dolls show that beauty and style come in many different flavors. For example, Teresa is more of an ash blonde with hazel eyes and her molded facial features are unique from those of the other dolls in the series.
