Product Description

From the Manufacturer

This unique play table lets a whole group of kids explore without having to sit in messy sand and cold water. There's a large sand area and a water area with a molded-in roadway, a bridge and a gate that creates an "inner harbor". Two hand cranks let children create currents to sail two boats around the table and in and out of the harbor. Drain the water, store the toys in pouch when finished, and fold the table up to create a smooth-surfaced play table with built-in cup holders.

This review is from: Little Tikes Endless Adventures EasyStore Sand & Water Table (Toy)
I'm loved Little Tikes products in the past, so I bought the Endless Adventure EasyStore Sand & Water Table for my grandson even though it was too new for parent reviews. I liked the idea of being able to just flip one side onto the other before use. It has some nice water play features and sand & water toys, but I HATE this table and will probably throw it away and get something else. It's in no condition to sell. First, I had to use my power drill to screw in the legs on the sand side. The legs on the water side wouldn't twist in straight, so the legs slant. The first time it rained with the table folded over, the base of one side filled with water that I can't get out without taking the table apart. The sloshing water adds weight that makes it even harder to snap together. The water table doesn't stand flat so most of the water won't drain out of the drainage hole. The worst part of the design is the part of the hinge on the water side that has to snap under the lip of the sand side in order to keep the water tray from collapsing. It's almost impossible to get that piece to snap in place, especially for one person. Several times, the water tray has collapsed, spilling water all over everything, because I couldn't get the two parts to snap together. Also, this is a very large table when both sides are open and it takes up a lot of space on my patio. The theory of the design just doesn't work in practice. This was an expensive mistake on my part.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the best outdoor toy for toddlers!, July 20, 2009
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Little Tikes Endless Adventures EasyStore Sand & Water Table (Toy)
We bought an older version of this table in 2001. I looked at the newer model and do not see much difference. I honestly do not understand why there are so many complaints! If you have any knowledge of working with a screwdriver, you can manage to get the legs attached. Perhaps try a machine screw if the plastic is too hard. Yes, water can enter the table and legs, but it eventually dries out. Yes, kids will always mix the sand and water...that's part of the fun! My, then, 18 mo daughter would spend hours at this table. I never found anything else that would interest her for so long at that age. She was still playing with it as of last summer at age 7. This summer, we got it out for my great niece's (17 mo)visit. My daughter enjoyed playing and showing her cousin what she could do with it. We sent it home with them. Little Tikes last forever! We still had all the original play parts (boats, bridges, etc), albiet a little faded. Would highly recommend as a must have summer toy, unless you require your patio to be extremely neat. By the way, we emptied the water side and flipped it, clamshell style, over the sand to keep it dry during rains. If we were going to let the water sit for a couple days, we added a teaspoon amount of bleach to keep it free of algae and bugs. Hope this encourages more to buy this wonderfull toy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Table, Great Fun!, August 23, 2009
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Little Tikes Endless Adventures EasyStore Sand & Water Table (Toy)
We love this table.
Both kids have had a ton of fun with it and not wanted to come inside when they are playing. I'm so sad to hear the poor reviews, I totally disagree.
We've had it 3 years and it hasn't faded.

All the legs on ours work fine without any screws. They fit in and come out with ease and stay in within table mode. The water plug doesn't leak and we found it easy to keep all the parts with the handy mesh bag that hangs on the side of the table.

Regarding, rain getting in the table... duhhh It's not a Sand, Water and Rain table. Why would you have your kids playing with it in the rain? (I'm being silly here.) It collapse and stores the legs and toys inside for the reason that you can easily store it in the rainy season. We're in CA in a part where it doesn't rain a ton. We stored it 1 winter but the other 2 we left it out. Sometimes we left it open and rain did get in it but it dried out as soon as the sun came out. The way it works with the water side on top is great. You drain the water and fold over the top.

I don't see how someone could say this isn't educational at all. I mean even if you don't like the table it has nothing to do with the educational aspects. They are learning cause and effect, about different textures, scientific properties of water and sand and how they interact as well as engineering skills in building things in the sand. This table clearly allows children to learn all of that in a very fun way.

It's sad that people are so narrow minded that they would say this toy somehow didn't allow any learning... they clearly aren't very intelligent themselves or are letting their views cloud their judgement.
