Schiff® found two new advanced ingredients - UniflexTM and Joint FluidTM - which, when added to the glucosamine, doubled the effectiveness vs. glucosamine and chondroitin alone (including Double Strength and Triple Strength). Glucosamine and Chondroitin: Rebuild Help by lubricating, strengthening, protecting, and rebuilding joints. UniflexTM: Protects A ground-breaking dual bioflavonoid antioxidant system that protects joints from harmful oxidants that accelerate the breakdown of cartilage and joint tissues. Joint FluidTM: Replenishes Helps to lubricate, rejuvenate, re-hydrate and repair joints. Clinical studies show that oral hyaluronic acid is absorbed in the joints. (A.G. Schauss et al,. FASEB, 2004) Directions: Take two (2) tablets together with a meal once a day. For best results, take two (2) tablets together with a meal twice a day for the first 14 days [four (4) tablets daily], then take two (2) tablets together with a meal once a day. I tried this item after years of knee pain, and my knee locking every time I bent down. After taking 2 pills a day for 2 weeks all symtems went away. I still take 2 a day, and walk 3 miles a day pain free. I am 64 years old. I am thankful for this product.

After taking the 2 pills twice daily to start, I did have a noticeable improvement in my knees. It didn't cure a sprain any faster, but has eased the soreness in my knee joints. I've also noticed an improvement in my shoulders which used to ache at night.

I am a physician( M.D.)starting my fourth bottle of this product, which I started on the advice of my physician brother-in-law. I am 69 years old, very healthy, but have a torn medial meniscus, but with minimal symptoms: squatting is nearly impossible. Soon after starting the third bottle, I started having a lot of intestinal gas (flatulence) and diarrhea, which have worsened as I started my fourth bottle. I finally stopped these pills, and after two weeks of "wash out" am back to normal. I have had no improvement from this product and nothing but grief!
