Sturdy Desk, Might Not be High Enough, August 30, 2006
This desk is easy to assemble if you know how to use a screwdriver and maybe a small drill (if you find the holes too shallow like I did). Also, no holes are made on the bottom legs, so marking and drilling helps. Otherwise, it's straightforward, and it looks nice. You should be warned, though: if your bed is too high, you probably won't feel comfortable with this desk, as it only reaches 35 inches. For today's heavy mattresses, this desk sits too low. Tilting the top is out of the question, and I could barely slide in underneath. I had to lower my bed by drilling new holes in the posts, and still the desk feels low.
As far as laptops go, mine is large (15+ inches) and fits well. The desk feels sturdy and I'm not afraid to leave the laptop on it. Overall, a good desk if you have a low bed or plan to use it elsewhere.
I give it 4 stars because HomeVisions didn't post the dimensions, on here or their website. But this could easily be remedied.

Good, but not perfect, April 20, 2007
First of all, I'll tell you that the laptop cart almost does everything I'd hoped. The biggest disappointment is that it won't extend quite tall enough to work well with my pillowtop mattress, which is taller than a normal mattress. The cart is tall enough to be just above the mattress, but not enough to swing the desk part of the cart over your lap. While I don't use it from the bed often, it is nice to have that option when I'm sick or something.
It does work fine, however, with my guest bed, which has a normal mattress. And it works really well in the living room from the couch, which is where I use it most often.
The other disappointment is the assembly. The desk is two pieces, a side piece for your mouse, and a longer piece that tilts for the laptop. When the long piece is not tilted, it is easy to see that the two pieces are not aligned properly. A small thing, but bothersome. Also, there were holes missing in one spot that it calls for screws to be inserted.
All in all, my satisfaction with this cart outweighs my disappointments. I'd buy it again, unless I found one that is a bit taller to work with my pillowtop mattress.

Laptop Cart, May 18, 2006
We just received this table last week. I cannot believe how beautiful this table looks. The wood has a rich rose coloring and is every bit as beautiful, if not more, than the photo shown.
This table was easily assembled, the pieces and directions clearly marked.
If you're looking for a table for your laptop, this is the one to get. Makes a great addition to a den or family room.
